This resort is only good for people that are in the time share. Not for the general population that is wanting to have an all inclusive experience. They have many rules about whether who can sit and dine and where you can dine. The staff was super rude and didn’t care if you didn’t have a golden bracelet (timeshare). Overall was not a good experience. I went with my 9 month old baby and thought since it’s family friendly it would be a good experience. It ruined our first family trip with our baby.

We visited Royal Haciendas March - April 2024. There were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 children. We booked BD experience for transportation from and to the airport. I did not like that they picked us up 2 hours prior to the time that would have made sense to be picked up. Royal Haciendas have a travel agency you can book your the pick up and drop offs to the airport (no free shuttle). thomasmoretravel We enjoyed the property, the staff and the food. You can reserve dinners at the 2 restaurants they have. The food is delicious- not everything is included, but everything that is included is delicious anyway! The property is clean! The staff is super friendly! The buffet offered enough food for everyone to find things they like. (On the side note, i would have like to have desserts for breakfast too, i like to have some with my morning coffee) I would go back for sure! The only thing I was sad about is the beach. It has been damaged by Hurricanes and has not been fixed yet. The property has plans on fixing it - but they are waiting for government approval. Honestly we will only book again, once the beach is fixed, since i prefer to be on the beach.

The property is beautiful. The rooms are amazing and the property has two oversized pools, and swim up bars. There are also multiple hot tubs on the property and designated small kids swim areas. The beach wasn't as we hoped as it was full of rocks and not what you would typically imagine but beautiful none the less. The buffet meals for breakfast and lunch were average, but not short on options. The individual rooms are stocked with plenty of bottled water which is amazing. Make sure you block your pool chairs early as they fill up very fast. The onsite market has everything you need from snacks and medicines to souvenirs. There is a free shuttle to 5th avenue everyday except Saturday, you must make a reservation for the shuttle. If you take a taxi expect it to be $20 USD each way. Entire staff is very friendly and accommodating. The reps assigned for "experience" are helpful and knowledgeable. We had the opportunity to be supported by Aquino who is amazing. This is a timeshare property, if you are not interested in a presentation, tell them right away (but the presentations are insightful), so that you value everyones time). If you go to a presentation, they will add a credit for some type of adventure, we used ours for a massage.

The property is well maintained, staff are absolutely amazing so helpful and friendly. The kids club was amazing, the kids loved every minute they attended and even said it was epic. One of our children celebrated their birthday during our stay and they decorated our room to make it extra special. By far the best resort/staff we have vacationed at. We have children with very specific needs and to book vacation time is very meticulous and this looked to fit the bill. It was way above our expectations and will definitely become a regular vacation spot for us.

The resort is excellent. It is well taken care of, clean, and there are many amenities. For example, snorkel gear and kayak are lent out free of charge. They have board games and games like cornhole they lend out free. The staff is excellent. Very friendly. Employees go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant time. They are very organized and timely in fulfilling requests. The transportation we used was top-notch and a great value. Only downside, the beach is very rough. Rocks, tree stumps, tree roots, etc. Be sure to take water shoes for beach use.

I’m not one to ever leave a review, but I thought it would be important to share my experience. Below are he pros and cons: Pros: Large suite Multiple pools and hot tubs Private beach Cons: Service is very poor Limited food options Making a reservation to one of the restaurants was almost impossible. Don’t order a taxi through Expedia, they were an hour late The rooms are outdated

Food could have been of better quality. The exception was one of the two restaurants that require reservation “Los Murales” which was excellent in both quality and service, though reserving these restaurants is very hard. You have to call exactly at 8AM and you usually can’t pick the time you want. Check-in and check-out took way too long 20 and 35 minutes respectively. The beach is small, full of rocks, and, at the time we went (first week of April) full of algae as well. Staff was overall friendly but some were not well-trained or just didn’t have the disposition. The amenities were very good for the price and the room was ample.

Water was warm in the showers. Pool side restaurants served good food like fish tacos, pizza, Philly cheesesteak, coconut shrimp. Room service was included with a limited menu but was very convenient. Pools were very accessible and open Negatives- Buffet food wasn’t very good. The 2 fancier restaurants required multiple day advance reservations. Shuttle to town needed reservations otherwise it was 300 pesos everywhere. Beach wasn’t the greatest and you could really walk down it to other resorts like you typically see at these destination all inclusive places. Otherwise the place in very good condition and besides for the restaurant log jam it wasn’t overpopulated

I have traveled to many all-inclusives in Mexico and the Caribbean. Cons: 1. Website says the offer sailing and it is included in your stay. My son sails, and I chose this resort because they offer sailing. Got here, NO SAILING 2. This resort is made up of timeshares and people staying all-inclusive. Timeshare owners have priority for restaurant dining. It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get a reservation at the good dining options restaurants Los Murales and Kintaro. Only time slots available despite calling at 8am each morning as instructed, were 5pm or 8/9p. Not ideal times for a family with elementary school children. 3. The dinner buffet food is BELOW AVERAGE with limited options. Hence making the issue of not being able to secure a dinner reservation an even bigger problem. 4. Due to no fault of the resort, most of the beach has succumb to erosion. Photos on the website and Expedia are inaccurate. The restaurant that goes out onto the beach, the outer edge of that is now under water. The beach is about 1/3 the size it shows on the photos making it difficult to even walk on the beach between the 2 sides of the resort. Pros: 1. Breakfast buffet was very good 2. Lunch options were somewhat limited, but good. 3. The staff work very hard and are here long hours. Treat them well. Tip them. Even if service is slow, it’s because there are so many people at the resort. We were here first week of April. 4. Room cleaning was excellent 5. Resort overall is clean and well kept

It was good resort, rooms are good, service is average, food is ok, but nothing exited all in all not for young crowd. It’s like more like old age resort, only 2 dine in restaurants Hibachi and steak and most others are at bar restaurant or the buffet. There were no entertainment at night like other resorts do and bar restaurants close at 6 pm, and buffet close at 10pm. only one bar open till 11 pm.

We had a great time on our vacation. The staff were very friendly and the grounds are kept in great condition. Food was above average and liked the option for a more traditinal sit down lunch by the pool, versus a buffet. A la carte restuarants are very good. Only downsides, beds and linens are a bit hard and rough for our liking. Its also a very quiet resort, no music by the pool and nothing really going on after 9pm. Missing an outdoor bar area with live entertainment. As we were there with younger nephews, there were a lot of families so it makes sense that the resort isnt too focused on night events. All in all, a great trip. Good value and our family had a great time.

The property and its amenities were top grade. We had no trouble getting any problem we had corrected through the staff and theybwere always available. It was a beautfiul area and never disappointed in providng entertainment in some form or another. The all inclusive package was worth every penny.

The entire property is not all inclusive. There are limited times for food and drinks. Lots of seaweed. Cannot check in early and use the benefits of all inclusive. However, the area itself is nice.

Place is really clean, every single person working is friendly and helpful, always getting put of their way to help customers. buffet always had tons of options. 8 year old daughter had a blast. Lots of kid activities. Personal concierge was very helpful. Helped us book the restaurants and checked on us throughout the vacation. I dont have a single bad thing to say. My wife is the type to always try new things and not repeat the last vacation but she even said we'll be coming back next year.

Complaints were I felt they were understaffed for lunch and drink service. The ocean has washed away most of the beach making it dangerous for little ones to even get in with all the palm tree roots. If your a beach goer this will be a problem.

Property is beautiful and clean and rooms were nice. Large nice pools, jacuzzi and spacious. Beach is great with plenty of chairs and sun/shade. A little rocky walking out to ocean but can navigate. Buffet food was good but could not get reservations any nights to other options. Lots or rental activities available for water fun. Best advise is to check out early when you leave as they do not have separate check-in and check-out lines so this was a longer than anticipated process. Check out should not take as long or the same line as check in! Overall I would stay here again for a quiet vacation.
