Amazing (second time here)Posted Dec 15, 2013
Top notch service... Amazing food (breakfast at la palapa, lunch at the luna grill by the pool and dinner every night at Los murales) Service by the pool we never had our cups empty and they were super friendly! The service at the rotunda bar was amazing! But by far the service at Los Murales was fit for a king! After the first night they had our drinks ready before we even got to our table.... Rudolfo is the best waiter there but he does have competition Aaron Carlos and Nateal were amazing as well. The pool was very clean and taken care of. The property is amazing and well kept.... Just avoid the timeshare tour. I highly recommend this place for relaxation and service. (Remember tipping makes service 10x better) I brought 300 in singles and 200 in tens and fives for 6nights. Came back with 100. So we tipped well but it makes it worth it!

Excellent stay!Posted Dec 10, 2013
The royal Haciendas is an excellent all inclusive hotel. We couldn't have asked for better or more friendly service from every area. The beach is beautiful and well kept. The food, wait staff, and restaurants are top notch. I can't wait to plan another visit.

Excellent staff and great location on the beachPosted Dec 8, 2013
Pros: Good staff. Right on the beach. Big pools. Clean.
Cons: The only bar open in the evening was inside the hotel - the hotel needs a bar outside / with a terrace to sit in the evening.
Location: Right on the beach. 10 minutes from Playa del Carmen. Lots of trips available but we didn't do any of them - we chose to stay on the beach.

excellent staff and nice beachPosted Dec 7, 2013
Pros: The beach, staff, room, food, everything was excellent.
We stayed in this hotel five nights with all inclusive package. The staff were very friendly and the beach was excellent. It was a very good experience. The housekeeping staff provided room services twice a day. The food was good with many options. We will come back again.

Great hotel, right on the beach with dive shop.Posted Nov 29, 2013
The hotel is very well kept. The staff is very welcoming and catered to all our requests. The food is good and the facilities are excellent. We had a great time (2 adults and 2 kids ages 10 and 8). It is just 20min cab ride from the ferry to Cozumel. You can easily do day trips to Cozumel for snorkeling and diving. This will be our first choice when we go back.

Bad food. Services under normal. Bad welcome!Posted Nov 25, 2013
Cons: See Riu place, Bahia Principe, Occidental, etc. and copy everthing
Location: this is in middle of nowhere...
Bad vacation. I expected a normal all inclusive. This was a pain. These guys live on another planet. They make your life as bad as they can. You need to sign bills after bills, a tone of bills. You want a beer, you cannot go to bar and get it. The waiter will take an order, you give your room key, he goes to a computer, after that he gives the order for your beer, 10 min. after that he comes to you. You get your beer. You want to leave but the waiter does have your key room (which is hotel internal credit card). You look for him and is not around. So you have to wait until he comes back. You ask for your room key and it takes another 5 min. to get it back, sign the bill. And they call that all inclusive. They do not have fruits al lunch and evening. Buffet is almost non existing. All inclusive is a kind of joke. They make your stay in all inclusive as a bad joke. FOOD is very bad there are a very few choices. In “a la carte” restaurant they serve water in plastic bottle. All is a joke on big money. You can see grocery carts in lobby. They make mistakes and overcharge on credit cards. You need credit card to check in. In lobby you can see people waiting in line to complain about wrong billings.
