Hospitality was great, with cleaning the room daily and fresh towels and filling the mini fridge. Staff was friendly, and entertainment was always exciting and fun. Carlos the mixologist at La Majorada bar was fantastic. Food options and quality was great for the 5 day stay.

Good value all inclusive. The only complaint is that there was excessively loud music at the pools, we had to escape to the beach to be able to avoid most of it.

This was our first time to stay at Hilton Playa del Carmen. We had a great time. Lots of pool activities, entertainment, beach was clean, nice staff and good food. We originally reserved a Jr ocean view suite but asked for an upgrade to Jr ocean front suite. The upgrade was great. The last two nights we asked for another upgrade to a Jr ocean front swim up suite. It was excellent! We will be going back for another great trip!!

When we checked in they informed us they didnt have any rooms available with a King bed. Which is what we reserved and paid for months in advance. The pool was freezing. Beach was public and dirty. To get a lounge chair was like being in Hunger Games-it was an all out brawl. And all cabanas and surrounding chairs were reserved already. Food was mediocre. The room was spacious, worn but nice, Staff was helpful mostly.

Been to the Cancun area many times and this was one of our best trips. The food was exceptional for an all inclusive. Service, layout and amenities were great. Loved the entertainment; opening band at 7:30 every night, followed by a show, then more music till 11. My only con was they stop serving drinks at 11 and the whole place pretty much shuts down. However we preferred the Playa Del Carmen nightlife; live music, clubs, dancing, bars, shopping and general fun walking around.

The food was not great, it was mediocre and was basically the same at all the restaurants although menus were titled and advertised differently at the different restaurants.The beach was fantastic. The location was great. Property was old and needs to be updated. Our room was fine and the air conditioning worked well. The spa massage was excellent and worth it. There is no food of any kind ( no chips,salsa, nachos or any appetizers in pool and beach areas which is a definite negative). In fact there was no nachos in any of the property restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay. The beach, ocean and pools were fantastic and the facilities and staff were lovely and friendly. We had an oceanfront view room which was large and comfortable with a large deck and comfortable king sized bed. The only thing we were not happy with was the food quality and dining choices. The breakfast buffet at Spice was good but Most of the dinner options were subpar and the only restaurant we thought had a quality dinner was the Mexican restaurant. We had paid for an all inclusive package but each restaurant kept trying to upsell wine and some restaurants were not included in the package. If the food options and quality improved, I would give a five star review.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Hilton Playa del Carmen and wanted to share my thoughts on the experience. Overall, the resort offers a blend of positive attributes alongside areas that warrant improvement. 1. Staff Courtesy and Professionalism: The staff at Hilton Playa del Carmen exhibited commendable levels of kindness and professionalism throughout my stay. From the reception desk to the dining areas, their attentiveness and courteous demeanor contributed significantly to the overall guest experience. 2. Cleanliness and Atmosphere: The resort maintained a generally clean and inviting atmosphere. However, upon my arrival, I encountered a concerning incident where I discovered a half-dead cockroach in my unit. While such occurrences can occasionally happen, they detract from the otherwise pleasant ambiance that the resort seeks to uphold. 3. Safety and First Aid Services: Regrettably, an incident occurred during my stay where my wife sustained a fall down the stairs, resulting in a deep skin laceration and bleeding. In times of emergency, prompt access to comprehensive first aid supplies and services is paramount. Despite seeking assistance at the concierge desk, we were disappointed to find that the available first aid kit contained only basic bandages. It is imperative for establishments of this caliber to equip themselves with adequate medical supplies to address unforeseen accidents effectively.

This property is really great! The different options of dinning and especially the 24hr inclusive food! Our services was so amazing including Ivette the housekeeper she was very attentive on anything we needed. Overall the resort was.. Okay. The only thing my friends and I really enjoyed was the taco stand next to the pool. Which was totally hidden but super cute.. We were really disappointed that the resort closed down so early.. Everything closed by 11and if you went off resort to 5th Ave everything was INSANELY expensive. Overall I'll never return to this resort.

Everything is always so wonderful. We have stayed here multiple times and will return no question about it. The only thing I can complain about is there are not enough pool chairs/seats. If you don’t pay a daily rate of $175 then you cannot sit in any of the chairs directly around the pool or the day beds. This rules out half the chairs. It was not like this when it was Royale and can be very frustrating when you’re trying to enjoy the resort amenities you paid for as part of your stay.

My husband and I were there for our honeymoon. I couldn’t have picked a better place. All staff members very friendly and helpful. We loved the food options, the availability and the servers were very attentive. It’s right on the beach and the pool area is awesome. We will return again. Can’t say enough about this place!

I was super happy with how clean everywhere was however they were busy, staff were super nice and helpful, loved the vibe snd the area as well! One thing that can be improved is more dining options snd entertainment at night can last longer but overall we enjoyed our stay there a lot snd will go back for sure, Thanks Hilton!
