I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Hilton Playa del Carmen and wanted to share my thoughts on the experience. Overall, the resort offers a blend of positive attributes alongside areas that warrant improvement.
1. Staff Courtesy and Professionalism:
The staff at Hilton Playa del Carmen exhibited commendable levels of kindness and professionalism throughout my stay. From the reception desk to the dining areas, their attentiveness and courteous demeanor contributed significantly to the overall guest experience.
2. Cleanliness and Atmosphere:
The resort maintained a generally clean and inviting atmosphere. However, upon my arrival, I encountered a concerning incident where I discovered a half-dead cockroach in my unit. While such occurrences can occasionally happen, they detract from the otherwise pleasant ambiance that the resort seeks to uphold.
3. Safety and First Aid Services:
Regrettably, an incident occurred during my stay where my wife sustained a fall down the stairs, resulting in a deep skin laceration and bleeding. In times of emergency, prompt access to comprehensive first aid supplies and services is paramount. Despite seeking assistance at the concierge desk, we were disappointed to find that the available first aid kit contained only basic bandages. It is imperative for establishments of this caliber to equip themselves with adequate medical supplies to address unforeseen accidents effectively.
