Stay was great, only thing I didn't like was having to dress up for dinner. They need more casual places for dinner that you can wear shorts at.

Pros: the food, the pool
Cons: view from balconies
Overall this resort met all of our expectations. The grounds are very well kept and staff was very friendly throughout the entire stay. The food is what separates this all inclusive from the rest. Every restaurant and buffet served food that was far superior to any all inclusive we have stayed at in the past. The only disappointment was the view from our room. It was like looking into woods. Most of the rooms have a similar view even if you pay extra for ocean front you can't see the ocean.

A beautiful place that we plan to go back to

Pros: Everything was great from the restaurants, service, drinks, beach, pool, and our room.
Cons: The refrigerators aren't cold enough for beer. Add DVD players with movie rentals as many of the channels are spanish with no CC.
Location: We only went out once, and that was to Playa Del Carmen.
We got a great deal from Expedia, and just returned yesterday. It was a beautiful experience from the staff, room, drinks, and food. A few suggestions if you have never traveled to Cancun or Valentin, I would suggest booking your round trip transportation through Best Day travel. When you get to the airport, DO NOT talk to anyone inside as they will pull you over and try to get you to go to a timeshare. We fell into this 20 minute mistake. If you plan to tip -- which I would highly advise doing because that is how they make the majority of their salary -- and you are from the the states don't worry about getting pesos, just get a whole bunch of ones. Another secret is they remember the good tippers. All of the Restaurants were good to excellent. We are vegetarians, and our favorites for dinner -- Indonesian, Japanese, and the Italian. For dinner, all of the restaurants -- except for one -- require dress code. I wore semi-dress shoes and brought two polo shirts. The lunches were buffets -- No Complaints. For breakfast we ordered room service.

Nice hotel, great restaurants, friendly staff

Pros: The coffee is wonderful!!! Asked for steamed milk, it's the best! The restaurants were also great and the wait staff was amazing!
Cons: More staff should speak English. I'm allergic to shrimp and was almost given shrimp by one of the chefs. More golf carts and shuttles are needed!
Location: The excursions were priced much higher than Cancun. All of the same things are offered: shopping, jet skis, parasailing, water parks...
Overall, it was a good experience. I was there for a wedding, and we had a group of about 25, and we stayed in all levels of rooms. If I had any complaints, it's that I wish the hotel would have put us in rooms closer together. Also they could be a little bit more organized as far as check-in and check-out are concerned. The phone calls at 7 and 8 a.m. were annoying as well. They were calling to see how everything was going, but I just wanted to sleep. My sister's air conditioner went out in her room, and there was a slight delay in moving them to another one. Another couple's fan stopped working. Thankfully, I didn't have any problems.

The pool bar and parts of the pool needed some good cleaning other than that it was very nice

Very nice friendly service staff at every location on the resort . Make your stay enjoyable. We made use of the cabana that you had to pay for so that we could have shade during the day. Enjoyed both pools. The only negative was room smelled musty and so did the second room we looked at. The golden swim up pool unit that we were going to get smelled very musty and the beds really needed changing so we went with the silver room. This also smelled musty probably due to all the humidity and we just kept the fan on all the time to help with that. Furnishings were little dated. Food was excellent. Drinks were good as well. This is our fourth visit to the area and our first time staying at this resort and we did like it a lot.

Pros: We liked the grounds, pool & beach. We liked French Mexican Italian and Hibachi restaurants & Entertainment staff Lucy Rene Milagros Hilario Malaka
Cons: Food for lunch & breakfast, Mosquitoes everywhere, noticed few cockroaches in bathroom, seaweeds need removed, more variety of grilled food @ pool.
Location: Location is great, we never left property.
It was a very nice stay. We enjoyed the beach and the wonderful pool. Food and alcohol at the restaurants was very good. Can't say the same thing about the buffet breakfast and lunch. Unfortunately, the food there was very blend, very limited variety of meats, fruits and veggies compared to other resorts in Riviera Maya, such as Barceló. Pretty good entertainment throughout the day, such as rifle shooting, ping pong, volleyball, bingo, guessing games, water polo and others. We never left the resort - no need!

Better than we expected.

Pros: Friendly staff and a beautiful hotel.
Cons: Bed was too hard.
Location: stayed at the resort and found enough to do there.
Neither my wife or I had ever been to Mexico or an All Inclusive resort before and did not know what to expect. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, whatever we needed was taken care of and we were treated with respect from a very friendly staff. We will return.
