The hotel is convenient to the airport and good for business travel.

Respite for the Weary

A brief overnight stay between destinations and was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. We wanted something with a restaurant but ended up ordering a pizza instead! :-) Room was comfy and roomy and the bed was very comfortable. Clean and not hotel smelly. Friendly staff. Very nice stay.

Weekend Visit

Posted Mar 30, 2015
The stay was ok, was informed that there was no continental breakfast, charges if you make local calls. These are not things that I'm use to while at a hotel. Very pricy for just a room stay. Will not be staying at a Courtyard in the future if I can avoid it.

Dear Traveler, Thank you so much for staying with us at the Courtyard by Marriott Roanoke Airport. We understand your disappointment in not having a complimentary breakfast. Courtyard by Marriott has the Bistro which while it is not free, has many fresh and satisfying options available as well as serving Starbucks coffee. We hope that in the future you give us another chance to show you how great a Courtyard can be. Thank you so much for staying with us. We really appreciate you choosing to stay at our hotel. Sincerely, Joe Bender, Assistant General Manager

Terrible experience.

Posted Mar 17, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: To be considerate of their guests. Public safety was jeopardized as well as customer service. Communication left a lot to be desired.
Location: Near to the highway
After checking in and getting some rest,we got dressed to attend an affair at another hotel near by.There were three of us.My wife and her mother who is 89 years of age with Alzheimer's.I am 79 with a heart condition. When we reach the elevator on the third floor, and pushed the button to go down the light would not come on.There was no sign on the elevator indicating a problem. I called the front desk from the hallway telephone to determine what the issue was and was informed the elevators were down and I would need to use the exit stairs at either end of the hallway. Please note my room was on the 3rd floor. I was left no choice but to walk down 3 flights of stairs to the lobby in order to exit the hotel. Please note there were signs on the elevators on the lobby level. I did not find this experience a pleasant one. The Marriott Hotel did not deliver superior hospitality or offer any form of compensation. I am very doubtful that I would consider them for future stays, suggest referrals to others, nor will I now sign up for their rewards program.

Dear Durant, We are very sorry for the hardship you experienced during your stay at our hotel. We understand how taxing it is on the body to have to walk up and down the stairs rather than using the elevator. We worked diligently to get our elevators back up and running as soon as possible but due to circumstances beyond our control it took longer than we had hoped. We once again apologize for your experience and hope that you will give us another chance to show you how much we value you as a guest and your well being. Just fine and has a very "basic" restaurant

Posted Dec 8, 2014 on Hotels
Comfortable, clean, helpful service, although nothing fancy of course. I got in at 9 after being in a hospital during visitor hours all day and was truly grateful to have warm food at their no frills restaurant, open til 10, and a nice gin and tonic. One of the reasons I stay at this chain instead of an "express". If you think you'll need a restaurant in house, it's a good affordable option.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff.

Pros: Reasonably priced. Great location with easy access to I81.
Cons: Need to offer complimentary breakfast. Almost all hotels offer this now. Was surprised when we were told we could buy breakfast.
Hotel was very clean and located close to the interstate. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
