“Goog Hotel”
WAS A GOOD STAY
“Adequate but aged”
This is an obviously aged facility which makes cleaning and attraxctiveness hard to provide. Being grossly under-occupied, amenities are limited--breakfast skimpy. Location is great for our purpose visiting family.
“Civic Center Days Inn”
Hotel is 30-40 years old. Room was neat and tidy, employees were helpful, and everything worked well. Other reviews made this hotel sound like it should be avoided at all costs, but this was not my experience.
“not bad if you're no frills”
right in the middle of town, one block off interstate was super conveinent. room was clean and bland. all in all a good buy, but don't expect any perks besides one packet of coffee and four clean towels.

The people were friendly. the rooms were clean. We would stay there again.
“Great Southern Hospitality”
Excellant at solving a problem, (like a coffee pot not working) Housekeeping was at my door with new one before I got back from the office!!! Eager to please and making great strides to update the older building. Definately will stay there again when in that area. They had a GREAT free breakfast, (very clean and neat food area.)
“Not bad for the money”
If you don't need a lot of frills and money is an issue, it's a good deal. It's clean and a lot of motels can't claim that for the same price.
“Fine choice for a tight budget”
Hotel was older and bare bones. Bathroom and towels could have been cleaner, so consider packing your own. The hotel rooms are not equipped with irons or ironing boards. Very friendly hotel staff. Overall, just what you would expect for a cheap hotel room.
“Not horrible for the bar exam”
I went to Roanoke for the July bar exam. The other hotels were a lot more expensive. This one wasn't great but it got the job done. If you're stuck in Roanoke and want something cheap, give this a try.
“Good location...”
The hotel is in a good location- near downtown and the civic center. Just keep in mind you are getting what you pay for. Not the nicest place... the shower wasn't too nice- luckily we were only there one night so I didn't need to shower there...
