“very reasonable in price and nice”

The hotel was not brand new but it was nice and comfortable. We were there for three days and left when it was dark and returned after dark so we didn't get to see the grounds. What we could see of the pool area looked very family oriented. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was wonderful.

“Very Nice Hotel”

I am a mom traveling to Roanoke with my two young children. After reading some of the reviews, I wasn't sure I was doing the right thing staying here. But after arriving, I was glad I did. I'm a former Roanoke native and I know the area (and the hotel) well. Although there were a few cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling in my room and the decorations were outdated, the rooms were very comfortable and the staff was great. The coffee and breakfast bar were a great way to start the day. The location is excellent--5 minutes from the airport and right next to the freeway. This is a great deal for the price.

“Pleasantly surprised”

Our room was large, well-appointed and relatively clean. The bed was most comfortable, The linens were decent. A card on the bed said our payment would be refunded if we had any problem that could not be resolved. The restaurant has a limited menu, but the food and service were excellent. The food prices are reasonable. The comp breakfast was more than adequate; OK in quality.

This hotel was easy to get to off of I81. Staff was very warm and friendly. They had turned the heat on in the room before we got there since it was freezing outside! The complimentary breakfast was superb! Hot and cold food, beautiful view of the valley and clean dining area. highly recommend it.

Hotel staff was very nice and willing to help. Restaurant in hotel is very small but offers great food. The rooms are a little outdated but still very clean and comfortable.

“Roanoke's best hotel”

This hotel was very conveniently located near the airport. I was very surprised at the upscale decorating, the room was like staying at a very high-end hotel!

If you're looking for the Hilton or Ritz, you got the wrong place. However, if you want a curteous staff, a homie place, and convenience - this place was great for the money.

I booked this hotel with an Expedia unpublished rate. Best free breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. We stayed for two nights and the room was very clean and comfortable. This is an older hotel, but for the price it can't be beat. The only area that needed improvement was the wi-fi; it was a nice feature but the signal was sometimes weak.
