Pros: The staff was very friendly
Cons: I had to get my bags down the stairs and was a ways from the lobby, but someone did assist me getting them up to my room.
Location: I did not take notice as I was only staying a short while.
I enjoyed being able to relax after a long trip from Africa and not have to check out until noon. I was able to have a complimentary breakfast then go back to sleep before getting back on the road .

NOT a nice motel, definitely DON'T recommend it!

Pros: Nothing! Left a really 'bad taste' in our experience. Never staying at a Quality Inn, for sure!
Cons: They need to train their staff better - especially the kitchen staff - to be courteous and to serve, listen and accommodate guests!
Location: convenient to interstate
Room was not clean, bathroom was nasty. Overall facilities - old, lacking maintenance, smelly, not attractive at all, nothing like the pictures advertising it! Kitchen lady was rude; no compassion for our family who was grieving the loss of our Mom; no willingness to serve, accommodate guests and make guests feel welcome in difficult situation. There was nothing going on, not a lot of people there and yet, she kicked us out of the dinning area because it was 'dinner time' and she had to wait on customers. TERRIBLE breakfast! Expedia - please REMOVE it from your list of options!

Pros: Coffee
Location: I was on business so I didn't have a whole lot of time to sight see.
The room was used as a place to sleep, shower and change. The breakfast was very good and the coffee was just right. The building is a older one one but in good shape.

We were at the back of the hotel (130) and the internet service was marginal. Otherwise the room was good

Business travel

Pros: Rate
Cons: Many things, but for the rate that would not work, so it's not worth discussing
Location: Location was fine considering my business travel (clients in Roanoke and Salem).
The hotel was fine. Room was clean, breakfast was good with choices, and the staff were friendly. For the price and for business travel, it works. Right down the road (walking distance) is a good Mexican restaurant for some good food and drinks after work.

Affordable stay

Posted Jan 29, 2014
TV set is tube and should be replaced with LCD model. Hvac unit was missing knob and could not adjust heat. Pillows were not even full size although there were 3 of the tiny things. Room booked as smoking but no ashtray. Staff did make sure parking lot and walks were cleared and salted to tackle the 3" of snow.
