The entire hotel needs thorough cleaning.Posted May 16, 2015
Pros: The front desk personnel Nitin and Karen went beyond to make us feel comfortable for the night.
Cons: The entire appearance of of the hotel.
Location: Don't know.
The hotel was dirty and there were bugs/roaches on the bed.

NastyPosted May 12, 2015
Checked in and out within 20 minutes. Smelt like they rent the room by the hour. Went to desk to ask for room to be freshened and was handed a bottle of spic and span to clean my own room. Never again. Nasty. Gross. Desk staff was rude and unprofessional.

Okay placePosted Mar 22, 2015
The hotel is only mediocre. Fairly clean, old carpets, entrance to elevator was outside and did not feel very safe and private. Traffic was noisy. We cut on TV and heat to drown out noise. Breakfast was fair. They just had cereal, muffins, doughnuts, waffles and the usual coffee and juice. No eggs, gravy, bacon and sausage. Nothing special. Okay for the money.

Ramada RoanokePosted Feb 24, 2015 on Hotels.com
This hotel is a dated, run-down, motel style place. The room was passable (relatively clean, heater worked, hot water worked, etc), but it's not in a great neighborhood, and the general appearance of the hotel is pretty horrible. It was cheap, so I figured I'd give it a shot, but I won't be staying there again.

AVOID THIS HOTELPosted Feb 24, 2015 on Hotels.com
I got this room for someone that needed a place to say during a recent snowstorm in order to get to work the next day. The room was supposed to be non-smoking but reeked of cigarettes and strong sprays to try and cover it up. When my friend called to get help the front desk person offered her a can of more spray! The carpets had horrible stains on them, the bed linens were riddled with cigarette burn holes, and the bath tub had hair in it. Had there been another option my friend would have left. She sent me pictures to document all of this, and I can tell you it was terrible. I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

Ramada Roanoke - A good place to stayPosted Jan 6, 2015 on Hotels.com
During our stay at the Ramada Roanoke we found the hotel staff to be extremely helpful (especially Laurie at the front desk). We had stayed at the hotel a year ago and it was good to see that there has been a lot of cleaning and refurbishment going on. Our room was clean and quiet. The location is very convenient. The breakfast was good - among other items they have Belgian waffles which is my favorite. If you are looking for plush and extravagant then Ramada Roanoke is probably not for you; but if you are looking for comfortable, clean, and friendly at half the price then I strongly recommend you try the Ramada Roanoke.
