This is a lovely resort right at the end of West Bay. We loved the fact that it was directly on the water so that we could take in the sunset every evening. The restaurant had great food and amazing Monkey La La's during happy hour. We loved snorkeling from West Bay! However we have found much better dive operations in West End, as our dive lacked safety protocols. But as far as location and value goes, it was great.

The food and the view from the restaurant are fantastic. Winson the main server is incredible and always plays great music too. We loved how close this resort was to West Bay Beach without being right on it. We did the walk along the shore to west end which took about 45 min. It was a great location. The cabins are rustic but decent.

We liked the ocean view room and it was clean but wish we had a tv. Only a few rooms with tvs and not ocean view. The 2 men at the restaurant and bar Devin and the other one worked the hardest. They also were very caring with all the customers and tried to please us every time. The food was very good and the drinks. When the men were not at the bar our experience with the women was they did not wait on you and on cell phones and both leaving the bar at the same time to eat several times with no one waiting on anyone.

Loved this place! The best part is the restaurant. Everything you get there is phenomenal. The chef is out of this world! (Get the red snapper with onion sauce) We are also so happy we got our scuba diving certification. It felt like was home. Great stay!

We were a party of six, four rooms. Front desk staffs were friendly when we checked in/out. Unfortunately can't say the same for the bar& restaurant people. They seemed very rude and racist, specially with my siblins don't speak english at all. I could say the two ladies were serving breakfast, one black and the other one latina. This hotel is in a great location but overpriced for outdated rooms. It's an older hotel and some of the doors need replacing. If you get one of the ground floor ocean &garden view rooms, you won't be able to sleep in peace. You'll hear and feel every step on your head from people up stairs. The "pool" is too small like a hot tub and dirty. And last one thing. The little parking space was full most of the time. I didn't get a chance to use it for my prada 2023, it's so unsafe and not gated. I wouldn't stay here again, there are so many better options.

LOVE THIS PLACE!
I love it here- The rooms are modest and exactly what I would expect out of them. They are always clean and well kept. The front desk is always friendly and willing to help with questions and arranging what ever your heart desires to do on a beautiful island. The Dive staff are abolutely wonderful! They make me feel comfortable and take care of all my dive needs. I will be back

Amazing place to stay in a quiet area of West Bay. Easy to get to the rest of West Bay (less than 5 minute walk along the beach) or a water taxi to West End ($5 pp). Rooms were clean and comfortable. Air conditioning and hot water showers with daily room cleans and a mini fridge. The restaurant offers great quality food and the staff is all very friendly. The dive shop is also top notch. Will definitely look to stay here again when back in Roatan!

The staff was amazing. The groundskeeper is meticulous! The girls who cleaned the room were so nice and really went above and beyond. Winston is the mayor!!! He is a one man show and if you get up early you may catch him singing as he gets things set up for the day. No need to ask him for anything. He’s coming to you!! The office team was very helpful and always had time to answer questions. The thing I would change is my room choice. I ish I would have been assigned the room next to us. There was no screens so we had no opportunity to just open tfe windows. We had a superior ocean view but the room next to us really had the best view and extra side windows they would have allowed us to open the windows to allow for the cool ocean winds. We plan to return but for the money we’ll be looking at room with balcony and view that us just as equal. Thanks to the staff they make this place special.

Bad costumer service and terrible management.
Bad costumer service and terrible management. Most hotels we saw in the area were old but many were well keep, clean and had friendly-professional staff. Las Rocas in he other hand was dirty, unprofessional staff ( especially management ). Food and drinks were mediocre, no true taste of the local food o drinks.

I don't know how to describe something worse than horrible. A room without TV, no phone to ask for service. The bathroom is smaller than a prison cell. That hotel ruined my vacation. It is the worst thing I have visited in my life.

We had such an amazing stay at Las Rocas! Everyone (including the other guests) were super friendly. It was in such a great location to either walk throughout West Bay and visit the beach & restaurants or to take a 5 minute water taxi right from the property to West End. Take the dive certification class or do a discovery dive! The dive team was incredible and really helpful, especially for beginners! On our dives we saw turtles, spotted eagle rays, parrot fish, and more! Highly recommend :) Geraldine at the dive center was a huge help in understanding the materials and techniques for our open water certification. We will definitely be back! :)

Great location at the end of West Bay away from the hustle but easy walking distance to all the bars and restaurants, or catch a water taxi at the dock for a short ride to West End. Free shuttle to and from the airport was included and they were waiting for us when we arrived. Staff were very friendly and helped us arrange a day trip to Little French Key. We didn't dive but rented snorkel gear from the dife shop. We heard they are one of the cheapest shops to dive with. The restaurant at the resort was one of the best we ate at and you can't find cheaper drinks on West Bay. During happy hour from 3-6pm 2 drinks were only $5-$7. We cant wait to return!

Simple Hotel On The Water
Quaint and adequate. Yes, very simple hotel serving the dive community. At the end of West Bay, it is a quiet area but, a short walk to all the "action" if that is what you are looking for. Staff is kind and helpful. The morning breakfast was actually pretty good. Water pressure is a little low but, hot water seemed to be plentiful once it finally starts flowing. All in all, we would stay there again.

This is a very good hotel . The rooms are big and clean, and the price is unbeatable. Excellent location, right at the beach and not too close to the busy life. A big perk is the transfer to and from the airport, which is included in your reservation. The service is good. It is a casual but after a Couple of days here it seems you are part of a family. They really go out of their way take care all your needs. I would recommend trimming the trees in front of the rooms a bit so you can really enjoy the great ocean view. Also it was rainy season, and it seems like there were not prepared for that . They do not have umbrellas to move inside the property , so to go to the restaurant you will get wet. The trail to go out of the property to the beach and around the restaurant were not paved so you get a lot of mud when it rains. The restaurant has everything it needs to be one of the places to go when in Roatan but it need a bit of work. It was one of the best places we ate on the island but it needs a few simple tweaks. I loved this hotel, and will stay here when I come back to Roatan . Totally recommend.

Nice dive resort with awesome staff
We spent 5 days at Las Rocas, and it was great. The staff were all so friendly and the hotel grounds are so lush/tropical. It’s a small hotel, not a lot of frills or high end amenities. Perfect if you are diving, or not spending a lot of time in your room. We got the Oceanfront room, very spacious and has the necessities. The view is more of a partial view, not visible from inside the room. Rooms are a little outdated, but not bad for the price. The beds are firm, and water pressure can be a little weak at times (usually after divers came back). WiFi was good over the entire property. We LOVED the restaurant/bar, spent many hours here. Especially fond of their 2 for 1 happy hour! Haha. We tried most of the food menu and everything was delicious. Definitely try a Monkey Nala and the Rum Punch if you want to try a drink. We aren’t divers (just snorkelers), but every guest we spoke to enjoyed their dives and the dive staff. You will want to get in the water and see the marine life in Roatán! As far as covid protocols, the staff always wore masks and helped coordinate our covid tests for departure. The lab techs come to the resort for $50 per person, so not too bad at all.
