Smallest bathroom ever. Toilet is literally at the shower door. No space at all. The bedroom/living area were great. Very clean and loads of space. Should have made the living area abit smaller to accommodate atleast a normal size hotel bathroom. Was definately not worth the price paid unfortunately

No issue with motel itself. Problem was with Hotel.com. They never informed the motel that we were a party of 3 rather than a couple so we were only assigned a Queen bed which sleeps 2. Catherine on reception was helpful in getting us extra duvets but unfortunately our child (11 yrs old) had to sleep on the floor.

Sorry to say we were so disappointed! We paid $250 for one night! Towels were an off white grey colour, thin, I wouldn’t shower because I didn’t want to dry off with them. Carpets stained dreadfully. Kettle dirty inside and out. View from the balcony was the only promised kept, beautiful but deck wouldn’t have been stained in ten years I think. Usually don’t complain but would hate anyone else to pay $250 a night to stay here. Also no staff on arrival you have to ring to be told your room number, key waiting inside. No nice outdoor areas to relax as said in advertising! Very run down.

A lovingly renovated property, harbor view room is a must. A shame we traveled in off peak time and the cafe was not open, it would have been lovely to have a coffee in the sun in the morning! Friendly staff and a great spot - thank you for our mini getaway!

Picturesque Harbour View
The family owned accommodation is striving for high status. A good effort has been made with the decor and eco friendliness. Having a shower in the bath was quite unnerving because of the slippery surface and exiting passed the glass side and high bath side had to done careful. There was quite a bit of drilling into brick walls during the day and when we came back from a walk to relax close to three o’clock we couldn’t due to the noise so went for a drive. The white towelling was a dirty grey colour. Maintenance on doors and walls required throughout. The view over the harbour from our room balcony was beautiful. Compared to other equitably priced and strategically located accommodation we stayed at either side of this one, it was clear much work still needs to be done to come up to standard.

A small and cute motel that is bright and airy, clean and close to everything. The staff, a lovely, friendly and helpful young lady, are fantastic and we were greeted with a smile. We would return for sure.

Arrived and both rooms had been warmed for us! Big tick! However property had no service after 6pm. Couldn’t work Netflix and no answer to text seeking help and no manual / instructions in the room to assist. Lower floor front rooms advertises Harbour view but there is none. It’s clean and basic. We booked second room and it was very scant. There is a cafe onsite and only realised as we were leaving but no info that it was there so would suggest better overall check in and info about what is in offer with the stay. Price I thought did not reflect amenity at this stage. We were only staying overnight travelling through from Adelaide.

The receptionist was very helpful and efficient. The onsite cafe is a great amenity and the coffee was well made. The supplied handwash/shampoo was eco/good quality.

Lovely newly renovated motel
Very pleasantly surprised by my stay at Harbour View Motel. The room was clearly newly renovated which I had not expected. I arrived after the reception had closed but Kathrine had sorted everything for my arrival and check in was easy. Free parking and close walking distance to central town. Would warmly recommend if you are staying in the area. Two points to note for improvement. Bed is on wheels - adding something to stop it rolling would be good. The wifi was not available in some parts of my room. No major issue, but would be lovely if that was not the case.

Very accomodating staff and owners, whom relocated us to a ground floor room on arrival, as we had mobility issues with the stairs on the harbour view rooms. Would definitely stay here again!
