Stop over in Tunica

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Clerk was helpful, the room clean and quiet.
Location: Location is on the west side of a divided highway. You must circle around if you are arriving from the south. There is no restaurant on site or near.
We stayed at the Key West for only one night. It is a good stop over hotel. We were thrilled to be able to check in a couple of hours early. The weather was really rainy and stressful driving, so this was a welcome relief. The room was ready, quiet and clean. Our internet worked well, and we just relaxed with the laptop for a few hours before dinner. Their breakfast is vey simple, but coffee was good. I would stay here again as a stop over. There is no pool or restaurant nearby.

Smack dab in the middle of casino's

Posted Mar 9, 2015
Wifi signal was weak and I couldn't connect but other than that hotel was cozy and comfortable. Maintenance is neglectful on cleaning the air filters in the rooms also. Thats the air we breathe, it should be clean.

IN THE MIDDLE OF A COTTON FIELD.

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: NOT MUCH TO LIKE
Cons: IF THE BUSINESS WAS OWNED BY LOCALS, PERHAPS IT WOULD REFLECT IN THE FURNISHINGS AND DECOR.
WALKED INTO THE ROOM AND THE FIRST THING WE SAW WAS A BIG BURN MARK ON THE COUCH WHERE SOME ONE HAD SET A HOT IRON. PERFECT IRON SHAPE, GUESS IT WAS A BEAUTY MARK BECAUSE THE COUCH WAS NOT REPLACED, REPAIRED OR EVEN COVERED. KITCHEN HAD NO GLASSES, CUPS, NOTHING. WE DID NOT EVEN STAY THE NIGHT. JUST LEFT AND WENT HOME EARLY. WE SPENT A LOT OF MONEY FOR A ROOM THAT WAS MORE LIKE A NO TELL MOTEL.

Welcome to the land of stank

Posted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: Leaving
Cons: Everything
Location: You are in the Tunica area, but there are countless hotels that are in or closer to the casinos that are cleaner and easier to access.
Was advertised as a bed and breakfast. WRONG The BED: The room smelled bad, it looked like they had not vacuumed...ever, the sink was stopped up, the coffee pot was covered in some sort of dust, the toilet was made for a child, found a roach in the tub, cable went out for about 30 minutes one night, and the linens were stained so bad it looked like they were used as butt wipes. The BREAKFAST: The continental breakfast consisted of stale pastries, warm milk & OJ (sitting on the counter), two types of generic cereal, and coffee from the bowels of rabid camels.

Key west Inn

Posted Feb 2, 2015
Pros: Everything
Cons: More parking
Location: Its at the start of Casino Blvd. Not far from Memphis, so theres something close by for every family member to enjoy. With out the hassle of being rig
We stayed two nights at this motel. The rooms have been remodeled, the new décor is very eye pleasing and calming. The room was very clean and well stocked with coffee . The front desk clerk was very gracious and helpful. She helped out with directions and eating establishments. They also had a nice breakfast set out for guests in the lobby. This was well worth the money. Would be happy to stay there again.
