Super relaxing stay
We had a wonderful stay at the Radison. The staff is wonderful, the food was good and the kids really enjoyed the water sports. We travelled around Mauritius before we came and have to say that the beach is not as nice as other places because of the river. The water is not clear light blue, more dark and unclear, which didn’t bother us as we stayed in other places already but if this is your only place make sure you leave the resort and see the magnificent beaches Mauritius has. We had a really relaxing stay and it was a great end to our Mauritius adventure!

Perfect hotel
The hotel has everything on its site. Full of activities for children that can be babysitted for free. The service is just beyond all expectations. This side of the island is windy so you can kitesurf on the site. Noting around the hotel but we had a car and the hotel itself provides everything the guests might need or want.

The service is terrible. Food is no better than the one in Cuba. If you don’t take the all inclusive be ready to pay around 10$ for a bad beer. They also charge for water at dinner (around 5$ per bottle) They really want you to pay for the all inclusive. Get a car so you can move freely the hotel is in the middle of nowhere and the water next to the beach won’t be higher than you knee.

Well Done Radisson Blu at Roches Noires
Lovely hotel in pretty setting. Upgraded to a townhouse as we were 4 families which proved perfect for our needs BUT I think this did affect the service we received in terms of cleaning, sheet changing (with accidents from our little ones) provision of bottled water, etc. But Kid’s Club was very good, breakfast and supper buffets superb as in all Radisson Blu hotels, and the staff on reception were amazing - friendly, helpful, patient.

Paradise at the North west end of Mauritius
Location is a bit far off and exclusive with every facility you can ask for. The Hotel Management ensures to keep you pampered right from the time you check in till departure. Amazing, back to back activities are organised throughout the day to keep you engaged. You can spend 5 days at this property in Mauritius,being entertained without having to leave for excursions. Glad we had the Radisson at our rescue to make the most of our time, the day cyclone Fakir, hit the island closing down all outdoor excursions. Thoroughly enjoyed the existing theme dinner buffets and the experiences of star gazing and movie on the beach at nights.

You can't fault customer service really; Mauritian are lovely people. Beach isn't great but there is an hourly shuttle that takes you to a beautiful lagoon where you can swim including with kids when the tide is low.

Disapointing Experience
The ocean is not clear as in the pictures (they are close to a river delta and then the beach have dark sand (they tried to offer a swimming platform in a clear water overseas,but you need to go by boat and maximum 1 hour per turn). The view of the room was not the same from the site (Oceanview): in my case I was looking to the river and a small jungle (do not recommend - check before booking). Staff is gentle, but apparently the my don’t have enough people (everybody runs up and down, but service is not 4* level). Long waiting time @ restaurants (maybe due to Easter Holliday), impossible to get a second round of beverages (don’t recommend the meal package). Cleaness was also a deception, we had to call the reception 3 days to have our room cleaned before 3PM (once our small boy had to sleep). Another disappointing point for me was the beach cleaness. There were a lot of cigarette buts all over. Okay that they can’t discipline the guests, but if they allow smoking should provide cleaness of at least disposals on the key points. What was good: room is comfortable and spacious, swimming pool area is nice. Worse points: disappointing experience in terms of services and ocean not clear as shown in the pictures. I sincerely don’t recommend the place and if possible would rather to choose another hotel. Would never send my friends there. You probably would get worth value for money somewhere else in Mauritius.

Poorly managed, hotel employee theft / vandalism
I would avoid this hotel and candidly avoid Mauritius given other more stunning islands to chose from. My wife and I stayed here 2 weekends ago and had an incident with vandalism / theft by a hotel employee that went unresolved. We acquired a crystal representing love from a local merchant at 6:30pm on a Saturday evening and placed it in the middle of our bed for good karma. We had taken a photo with the merchant that was time and date stamped. We took another one in my wife's hand just before we left it. We went to dinner on premises and asked that the Nexpresso machine in the room be replaced as it had not been working since arrival and past requests to replace it went undone. We returned to find a new Nexpresso machine, and when we went to our bed, found that the crystal was now broken in half and only one half of it left in the same exact position as the original. The other half was missing and never located. The bed had been made up by housekeeping around 4pm and was not disturbed before we left for dinner and was the same condition upon our return. Per hotel GM after reporting it to both security and Management, only the room service person who replaced the Nexpresso was recorded entering the room. The GM refused to report this crime to the police and seemed to find ways to delay us from doing so until we were so close to departure time to the airport that we couldnt.I would avoid this hotel and candidly avoid Mauritius given other more stunning islands to chose from.

However, we would like to point out the following: We understand that your holidays in Mauritius started on a bad note at the airport itself. Mauritius is well known for its legendary hospitality. We provide security and comfort to more than 1.5 million of tourists travelling each year to the island. It is sad to read that your welcoming experience at the airport was not up to your expectation. The airport of Mauritius has its procedures and policies which they abide to ensure the security of all travellers. With regards to the Crystal, we understand that it had an emotional value. We are happy that it was offered to you by a seller at our market place. However, based on your statement, we noted that only half of the stone was found at the exact same position on your bed. It is to be noted that there was indeed only one staff member who accessed your room to repair the coffee machine. This person came to your room well after the photo you have showed us and declined having seen the Crystal. Also, we would like to highlight that the division of the Mauritius Police Force, called ‘Police du Tourisme’, has its nearest station at 25 minutes’ drive from the resort and as mentioned to you, they were not available at the time to meet up with you for the procedures. We would like to reassure you that management shall never entertain any wrong doings by staff members nor prevent guest from filing a complaint to the police. We would like to sincerely apologise for any shortcoming that might have happened. It is really the very first time that we have encountered such an inexplicable situation. Excellent hotel, it has all the class and elegance that you would expect from a Radisson Blu hotel with the added benefit of getting great service from the staff. I have visited numerous hotels around the world as an elite member of various hotel programs and Radisson Blu Azuri tops them all. Staff are friendly and very accommodating (Preethi at the frontdesk was amazing, Diana from activities and kids club was super awesome, Ramesh from the main buffet restaurant would go out of his way to assist). Best service I've ever experienced from a hotel. The hotel has a kids club, boat house, daily activities and wide range of themed dinner buffet. 2 additional restaurants also offer a le carte menu. Beach has amazing views although not very good to swim in, but not a problem since they accommodate by having unique platform out in the ocean whereby they offer free boat trips to/from every hour so you can still enjoy a swim in the middle of the ocean. I'd definitely come back to Radisson Blu Azuri just to enjoy the experience and great service provided by their staff. The kids were sad to leave.

Good transfers from hotel. Very nice position of hotel - on the sea coast. Food was very good and catered for all types of palate Friendly staff who were always happy to help. Spoke good English so communication was good. Made us feel at ease. A special mention to one of the managers at the buffet bar - Ramesh. Always greeted us when we went to eat there and went out of his way to accommodate.

Nice hotel, food just ok, east side very windy
Had a great time, was upgraded to a lovely beach front bungalow type room which was great for the space with two little ones. (although looked a little grubby in places as everything was white so a few scuff marks and it looks less clean/new/fancy) The food on the buffet was a little disappointing for a 5 star hotel, our expectations and previous experiences of elsewhere was of much better food - this i think let it down The hotel itself is nice, the staff friendly and the overall part of this trip was great. The only issue is the east side of the island is just so much windier and so we were unable to take advantage and use the beach, the sea or any sports like that as much. Think next time we will just stay on the west

The Radisson Blu hotel is outstanding. There was nothing to complain about what so ever. The room was wonderfully clean with a fantastic shower which never ran out of piping hot water. The internet connection was amazing, not sure how they managed to offer a free service which allowed my three daughters to stream as much high quality video as they liked for our week's stay direct to our room. Being British we always struggle to find quality T.V. at the Radisson no problems. 6 Really good English T.V. channels to keep the kids happy. Loads of inclusive freebies, including paddle boarding, snorkelling, glass bottom boat, kayaking, pedal boating, free gym, wonderfully warm heated swimming pool. When I needed some business printing out, it was done immediately with no charge. You can relax at this hotel, knowing that everything will be taken care of and you don't get the feeling that the Radisson is trying to squeeze out extra money from you when ever they can (something which I found in so many other hotels I haver stayed in). We got a brilliant 20% reduced price through Hotels.com and if such an offer occurs again we'll definitely snap it up. We miss the Radisson Blu already and will definitely stay again.

Of all the hotels in Mauritius, there is definitely better places to stay than this. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are wonderful and the staff are incredibly helpful. I was really disappointed because the beach is fake, the sand hurts your feet to walk on, and the hotel is completely isolated - so you cant even walk to a nice beach. The hotel is at the end of a weird housing estate - so there aren't any shops close by, which means you either have to rent a car or a taxi to get basic things, and to get to the beach. This was quite frustrating.. especially if you are hoping for a relaxing beach holiday. From what i hear, i would recommend the other side of the island, as the beaches are better and there is a lot less wind.

Quite location a little far from anywhere but that's good for us. Not crowded, quite exclusive. Good bar close by and three good restaurants owned by the hotel. Excellent staff, really really good. Great selection of water spots free to use (not motorised) good for sailing enthusiasts. Had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Disappointing hotel next to swampy beach!
We were housed in the timeshare accommodation (not part of the hotel) which was lovely. Faultless. However, the Radisson Blu Azuri leaves little to be desired, the hotel, restaurants, service were all fairly poor. It is in the middle of no where so you need to either 1) hire a car or 2) spend a lot on taxi's. The beach is swampy, please if you are travelling all the way to Mauritius, go somewhere where the beaches are much better. We moved after 5 days and were lucky to find alternative accommodation over the New Year period.

Choosing this Hotel was the worst decision.
The Location and the beach was poor. it spoiled our 3 day stay completely because of a dirty and rocky beach and a lot of insensitive staff in house keeping and restaurant. However i will appreciate a couple of staff at the travel desk.

The hotel itself is extremely modern, huge rooms, nice gym, incredible service. It's just the "type" of hotel isn't what I generally go for...branded, a giant "complex" type of property, area felt remote, not like you were in "true Mauritius". But the service was exceptional and the quality of the property itself was top notch - just depends on what type of hotel you're looking for. Huge kudos to the fantastic waitstaff & sommelier in the Seafood Restaurant - they were really top notch.

Stay at Centara Grand Azuri Hotel, Mauritius
Location a little out of the way of major beaches. Hotel is of good standard, but for white beaches you need to travel by taxi. Hotel stall excellent.

Nice hotel close to beach
I stayed in this hotel for 9 days for my honeymoon , and I really like everything about it .. The staffs are really friendly and professional, the facilities are clean and organized, and the rooms are stylish. Also one thing worth note is that if you are planning to do any trip the hotel can easily organize that for you with cheapest price ... I would recommend this hotel for anyone how is interested in quite place to spend his holiday

Hotel to far from main area grand baie
Very nice hotel love the place just too far from the centre area need to drive or get cab lovely for relaxing but if you want to be near tourist area don't choose here!

Excellent service
Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is relatively new (9months) and is clean and in good condition. A large variety of sea sports available and most are free for hotel guests.Beach is not that nice and not really nice for swimming as there are lots of sea grass. Buy the half board package unless you intend to Rent a car.

A little slice of paradise
Stayed at this hotel only for three nights but almost wished we had stayed more. Beautiful location, if a tiny bit windier than the rest of the island with lots of space to relax either by the pools or at the beach. Service in the restaurants (on half board plus which includes alcoholic beverages at meals) was very very good, especially at the fancier restaurant where we ate just one night. We also used the gym, spa services and the steam room and found them just as expected for a 5-star hotel. Also, the rooms were very luxurious, clean and well-appointed, especially the open bath with a tub that looks right out to the sea. Paradise. Just note that the option on hotels.com for 'ocean facing' is actually not a sea-view room. Upon arrival we got into a bit of an issue with the staff on this matter and while we were eventually upgraded, took about 3 hours to resolve and was a bit tense. But overall en exceptional stay.

Activities and Relaxing- Fantastic
Amazing, friendly staff... this level of service is unmatched. The sports activities included were so much fun; so many to choose from and included in our halfboard! Halfboard was enough for us, we weren't hungry after a big, late breakfast and had dinner after sunset. Highly recommended!

THE top resort- great beachftont suite
SUPERIOR staff and facilities. We felt like family with the staff, who were helpful and friendly. The activities available: Catamaran, snorkling, paddleboats, canoes, etc... kept us busy when we weren't lounging on the beach or beside the double level infinity pool. We chose a beachfront suite and spent hours on our patio w/splashpool and lounge chairs. (All suites were good, but the higher 805-810 had wider ocean view). Would recommend to any friends visiting Mauritius!
