In city

Room exceptionally small & cramped. Uncomfortable bed and pillows like rocks. Bed should have been replaced a long time ago- sagged in middle.

Pros: Lots of character.
Location: In the heart of Rochestervwuth lots of shops nearby.
Some people might find it small but I found it quaint with a lot of character. Beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Will stay herevagain.

DISGUSTING!

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: nothing - the most disgusting hotel we have ever seen.
Cons: clean it up!
This hotel was horrible, the place was dirty, cars all over the place and the beds had black hair all over in the sheets. We left and went to a different hotel. Absolutely unacceptable for a hotel.

Close to Mayo. Walking distance

The hotel was very old but mostly clean. The price was right but I would have liked to have it a little more modern. It worked out fine.

Rustic Hotel

Posted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: The staff is nice.
Cons: Everything!
Location: One block from the Mayo clinic and downtown Rochester.
This is a really old hotel that has not been updated in decades. The price is cheap, the location is close to the Mayo Clinic, but only stay here if you don't mind really rustic accommodations. The rooms are cramped, and you have to step up to get into the bathroom.

It was a nice stay. Nothing amazing, nothing bad. The bed is hard, but most hotel beds are harder than I like. The room was small, but plenty for just one person. The shower was hot, and the toilet flushed well. It is close to the Mayo Clinic and Methodist Hospital, so it is sometimes quite noisy at night.
