“Stay away from the rooms above the bar”

THe hotel was very nice, however, we were in room 410 and it was above the bar area. The return grille in the room up on the wall transferred everybodies conversations from the bar like they were standing in our room...My daughter went and slept in the tub because when I called the front desk I was told that there was nothing they could do.. I called around midnight and he said the bar would close by 2 am. THe noise wasn't coming from the doors, walls or glass, it was coming thru the vent and this is a definite design flaw. I cant believe we are the first to complain. THe front desk should have offered to move us but instead he put me on hold for sometime and I finally hung up and slept with pillow over my head.

“Nice holiday Shopping Get-away”

We stayed in Rochester to shop and have a nice dinner. The hotel was nice, the bar was relaxing for before dinner drink, pool and fitness center is a nice touch. Breakfast was good and good service as well.

“Caters to Smokers”

This was a potentially a very nice hotel, friendly, and very comfortable. I would have had a very satisfied stay if not for the SMOKE RESIDUE in my room. The carpet smelled of old smoke and carpet freshener. After taking a refreshing shower, the clean towels smelled of stale smoke. The clothes in my suitcase came home smelling of stale smoke. Other hotels have adopted a no smoking policy. Why hasn't this hotel? Also: The plants in the hotel were severly diseased and were easily viewable from the second and third floors.

“Would stay again!”

When we checked in, they changed our room putting us on the 6th floor and it was beautiful!!! The cookies they gave us at check-in were fabulous, and everyone was just so nice. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. We spent some time in the hot tub relaxing in the evening.

“Good but very very noisey”

Lovely european style hotel , only problem quite a few junior hockey teams staying ! I think there could be a system worked out when booking to warn you that the noise level will be high. Thought the bistro was good attentive staff .
