I was not even able to check in since there was no body at the front desk. After sitting in the lobby for some time, I went out to my car and called the hotel… three times. After that, I called corporate to see if they could get a hold of them. As I was standing in the lobby listening to the hotel phone ring for 10 minutes, I got upset and answered the phone myself. After wasting TWO HOURS, I ended up having to book a second hotel across town since I was unable to even check in to Main Stay. I am not one to write negative reviews, but this hotel is a joke. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Frustrated
I booked and paid in full thru Hotels.com but when I got to the hotel they said they did not have a reservation for my two room under my name I showed the confirmation from hotels.com and my receipt for payment. They had rooms available but made me pay (again) and for a higher price.for my two rooms. Then we went to our rooms and they smelled musty and we saw SEVERAL bugs. We decided not to stay at the hotel and went downstairs to checkout. The hotel did give me a refund but told me we would see these bugs everywhere in Rochester hotels. We went a cross the parking lot to Country Inn (much better and no bugs). Now I will have to battle get my refund from Hotels.com. I would give this experience put a big thumbs down.
