Hard to find/let down when you find it.

Posted Apr 7, 2015
Pros: Nothing, nada, niente.
Cons: Fire Miss tatoos.
Location: It's in the same town as Mayo and cheap if you are staying for a while
Need a GPS to find. Desk help sees you come in and stays hidden with her feet on the desk. When you need a glass to take pills you go back to the desk and she's missing, wait, wait, wait until another patron tells you she's outside having a smoke.

Good experience

Location: Mayo clinic
Nice firm bed, sheets smelt clean too. However the bathroom could of been a little cleaner....someone's hair all over. Other than that it was good.

Cheap - and rightly so

Posted Mar 1, 2015
Cons: Ever heard of fabric softener?
Worn but tidy I expected. Towels like sandpaper and super-slow internet (pay for for decent speed) were disappointing. Two phone calls about lost items resulted not even in the promised call back.

Outdated hotel

Posted Feb 27, 2015
There is no breakfast, only a coffee machine, but on the internet they advertise that breakfast is included. Hotel is outdated.

You get what you pay for ....

Posted Jan 31, 2015
Pros: Not much ....
Cons: Alot!
Accommodations are not all they appear to be on the website. We reserved a non-smoking room. When we got off the elevator, you could immediately smell cigarette smoke. The hallway carpet appeared dirty. Our room had NO amenities - not even a hairdryer. It was late when we arrived, and I had to call down to ask for a hair dryer. They informed me I had 5 mins. to come down to the front desk to pick it up. Otherwise I could get it after 7:00 am the next morning. First, I was already for bed (pj's) and second, they couldn't even run it up to us! We were leaving around 6:301 the next morning, so I had to get dressed and head downstairs to get it. There were three people standing behind the counter at that time .... The next morning, we went for "breakfast". It was granola bars, Keurig coffee, instant oatmeal .... Thank goodness we were heading back to Mayo, where we could get a real breakfast!

Great stay

Posted Jan 18, 2015 on Hotels.com
Appts with Mayo and was great they had a shuttle. The manager Yvette was extremely friendly, helpful and acknowledgeable. Cleaning Staff Polly & Becka were the greatest. It was a pleasure to have such a wonderful staff. Our shuttle Susan was extremely very pleasant to ride with. Gave great suggestions, was on time, never late and always willing to go that extra step to help folks. The only thing disappointing is there was no continental breakfast. Having such early morning appts did not want to get up about 4-5 to go out to eat. Would have been nice. Only thing we would like to see approved. The grab and go is just not cutting it. Lastly we thought the prices were appropriate till we spoke with others staying in different hotels. We paid about $10 more than others that stayed at a hotel with a pool/whirlpool and a full complimentary breakfast.

Utilitarian room with few amenities

Posted Dec 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
The best thing I can say about my stay is that the room was clean and quiet. Layout and amenities were purely utilitarian. Coffee and prepackaged oatmeal, muffins and granola bars do not qualify as breakfast. There was no coffee maker in the room or standard kitchen dishes since those are extras - something I did not realize until I entered the room.
