The place was just renovated. Everything was basically nice and clean. The location is very convenient, basically 10 to 15 min drive to anything you would want to see or do in the area. The only problem with my room was that the bottom of all the furniture was covered with dust, probably from the recent renovation, the phone was not working as well as the bed side reading light or electrical outlet. Not sure what the problem is with the TV. There was no on screen TV guide. The only thing that came up was a list of the channels with no network identification or TV show information. There was not even a printed guide in the room to show what network was on what channel. All in all I would stay at here again.

Wonderful overnight
This hotel is in a great location for visiting Rochester, with easy access to major highways in and out of the city. The property is clean, well kept, and has a friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are generous in size, and the beds are divine!

The staff is phenomenal! Super friendly, accommodating, and pleasant. Although the property seems to be under construction, the ONLY ice machine sat in the middle of the main walk way on the ground floor. The bed was really comfortable and clean, but the floor wasn’t vacuumed, there was dried cereal on the floor by the refrigerator, there was some sort of glue on one of the nightstands that made the surface uneven. The bathroom door hinges were severely rusted and the door squeaked-which we fixed ourselves. Also, sadly, some fellow guests found a man who overdosed on the employee break table outside.

we were given a room on the first floor that did not have working plumbing. The toilet and sink were clogged and the manager told us we should not have been assigned to that room because they knew it was problematic. We were then moved to another room upstairs. There were clumps of hair all over the bathroom floor and dead bugs on the window ledge. The manager came and cleaned it herself when we called. They was also loud banging underneath us because they were renovating the pool.

We stayed at Holiday Inn for 3 nights. Our rooms were never tidied while we stayed there because of a shortage of staff apparently. Although we were put up in a non smoking room, the room reeked of smoke. We asked the receptionist for another room, however they were sold out. We were handed room spray to help mask the odour. We constantly had to ask for clean towels and toiletries a well. The least the hotel could do was empty the trash for us or make the beds for us. We stayed with our 11 month old at the hotel and didn’t have the best experience.

Good breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable room. I could hear the guests in the room above me moving around all night; their footsteps were really loud on my ceiling. Bathrooms were not as clean as they could have been and the carpeting on the stairway was really dirty. The positives outweighed the negatives,however, and I would recommend.
