We were placed next to a staff area. Noise was disruptive the entire night. The creaning crew got started very early and we could hear them each morning. The sound-proofing for the room was completely unacceptable. Other than that, it was a nice room, clean enough, excepting the leak in the shower. Just not what was expected for the price paid.

The staff honestly could not have been nicer so none of this is their fault. The hotel is pretty run down for a Hyatt. The room was worn and dirty. Scratches on the furniture. Holes in the chair. The elevator didn’t work so we had to walk 5 flights to get our car from the garage. Not easy with luggage and a stroller. We paid for the breakfast and the whole situation was so sad. It was a makeshift buffet with stale pastries and most of the trays were empty. They had a regular kitchen toaster and toast and bread for everyone eating there to use. There was one poor guy working there and he was waiting tables, seating people, cleaning, and I think even making the food. They advertise Starbucks but it definitely shut down and they opened a more disappointing coffee bar. The front desk had a pile of boxes stacked around a random corner. Apparently maid service is upon request but we were never told that so nobody made up our room the first day which took us by surprise. I’d stay somewhere else if you can.

The pool and fitness center were very helpful features. The facility is a bit dated and the breakfast options were hard to figure out.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Very clean facilities inside and out. Pool and weight room included. Only downside was limited food menu options on site.

I knew from the day I got in that I would need to do laundry. I asked the front desk for a laundry bag and slip every day, and it took 5 days for them to get those to me. Water damage in the bathroom because the shower does doesn't close. Room was quite dusty overall. Had clearly not been thoroughly cleaned as there was also some kind of confetti or glitter around in the room.

Price was good. It was ok. Check in slow. Requested towels that never showed up. The noise from the adjoining room, hallway, elevator dinging, and AC that sounded like a train….well sleep was elusive. Starbucks advertised on their station and on signs but gone. The breakfast was super slow. I would stay again if necessary but def ask for a non- adjoining room and one away from elector. I’d know to skip their breakfast. The lobby needed a better cleaning. Coffee all over, garbage pails busting over…just seemed like a lack of care. Most employees were working hard but breakfast service def needed more.

I booked this for a concert as the venue was right across the street. It was a really nice hotel and the breakfast was delicious. Even though I had to pay and it wasn’t included, it was really good.

Pool was not available because it was getting fixed…I said I needed a pool because it was one of the reasons I booked the hotel. It would be convenient because I have small children. I asked for compensation and they told me I could cancel my reservation if I wanted too. I told them it was very hard for me to do that because I was already at the hotel with my family. It is hard to book and relocate your family at the very last minute, especially since I have already unloaded all my luggage and checked in. They gave me some excuse about how I should have checked the company’s website and that it states that the pool is under renovations on the website. I have gotten a email today from Expedia saying that the pool was good and to pack my bathing suit. I figured they would compensate something. Parking or breakfast but they did not offer anything and it was just a big inconvenience.

My husband and i stayed here for a conference being held in the ballroom. Keep in mind, breakfast is not included but reasonably priced compared tp other hotels. Only complaint is that our room was not well lit (small desk lamp and small, mounted lights between beds). Doors into lobby from public parking garage are locked at certain times and only accessible with room key and security is prompt to deal with unwanted individuals.

I cannot believe the Hyatt organization allows this place to operate under the Hyatt name!! First room had two lamps that didn’t work and the vanity in the bathroom was damaged. The second room was dusty with cobwebs everywhere, damaged curtains, shower was the size of a port a potty and the door to the ac unit was hanging off. The room was stocked with one washcloth and when we asked for more towels from the housekeeper that was cleaning the next room, we were told to call the front desk- couldn’t even provide a washcloth from the cart. Stay away from this place!

For a large name brand, very disappointed. Hard to find the entrance to the hotel and parking was not straightforward, bathroom cold water did not work and ceiling was stained. Toiletries were very poor quality. Advertised hotel restaurant was closed and only the bar had food for dinner. Pool was closed and room did not have a tub.

First time visiting Rochester and enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. Its convenient location puts you in walking distance to a lot of opportunities for shopping, dining and entertainment. Would book again.

Came back from a concert yesterday and wanted to have a coffee before going to my room and there was nothing there, containers empty. Pillows in our room were very uncomfortable. Hard time sleeping and woke up with a soar neck.

We only chose them because it was downtown with an indoor pool. Something I like to do with my son from time to time upon arrival they mentioned the pool was open until 11pm with no mention that it was broken. We had dinner and walked down to pool only to find it was out of service. The staff was ver nice when I complained and said they’d add me to the Hyatt membership with points but I never received an email. One positive was when we dinned for breakfast. Alina S. Was a wonderful waitress and very enjoyable company.

The was a panhandler in the middle of the lobby. It was around 7pm. No one noticed him until I pointed him out. My shower didn’t work and it isn't the vleanedt hotel I have been in

For a property that hosts large events frequently, the overall service was poor. Food options were non-existent. Lunch options were just wraps and lunch meat. The property was very cold. We later found out that boiler systems had been going on for a week.

The batteries in my remote were dead when arrived , keys to door stop working twice, tub did not hold water well , condition was only fair , hot tub broken in pool area and pool very cold , too cold to use . Food options terriable in the hotel with bar having bad hours . Would not stay there again. In addition I think they over charged me for my stay and no one will call me back .
