Boyfriend and I spent a night in the luxury suite. Great room, fireplace made for some great ambiance. Bed was big and really comfy. We had dinner at the restaurant downstairs, a little underwhelmed for the price we paid. The steaks were good, but side dishes were a little boring ( I could have whipped up those mashed potatoes myself). Staff was friendly and accommodating. We asked for a late check out and wasn't charged which was nice.

A very nice small inn!Posted Mar 31, 2015
Cons: Not the same breakfast items 2 mornings in a row.
My husband and I and another couple stayed here for 2 nights for a "staycation" 30 miles from home. The staff is courteous and efficient. The location perfect for walking to restaurants, a few shops, and the Little Theatre, and short drives to our other venues, the Eastman House and the High Falls Brewery. Our rooms were spacious, clean, up to date and nicely decorated and furnished. The continental breakfast was adequate, but exactly the same both days. I would stay here again, and recommend to others.

Elegant & ExemplaryPosted Mar 25, 2015
Pros: Attention to the nth detail. Pleasant, courteous and accommodating staff. Lovely decor.
Cons: More locks on the room doors.
ROOM: The room was exceptional. Clean, of course. But it was also elegant, with so many special touches to make a guest feel pampered and surrounded by luxury. The window treatments, wall-paper, knick-knacks, wall-hangings and furniture all were tasteful, unique, and together created a lovely, welcoming oasis. Even the bathroom was exceptionally well-designed. So many places to put things, not only hooks but a real hanger for clothes right near the shower, a magnifying mirror near the wall mirror.... The closet was walk-in size. There was even a valet stand. DINING: The continental breakfast, included with the room, was, again, elegant. The freshest fruit, delicious mini-quiches, several other options, cold juices and hot coffee, all served with linens and soft music. The dinners, too, were wonderfully prepared. The entress were a bit pricy, but the salads and sandwiches were good to the last bite and priced right.

Beautiful hotelPosted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: The hotel was easy to find The decor was lovely and the room was very nicely done, with a very clean and neat bathroom
Cons: The check in process was a bit unorganized, but worked out in the end
Location: We were not there to do much exploring of the area, since it was a family visit. There are a lot of things to do around and near Rochester.
After the initial confusion with getting checked in properly, we had a delightful stay in a lovely room. The staff was very apologetic for the problem we encountered and went out of their way to correct it.

Warm & Welcoming on a COLD WINTER'S NIGHTPosted Mar 5, 2015
The Inn's convenience to Eastman Theater as well as its historical step back in time charm (beautifully renovated), drew us in & now we will most assuredly return. Tournedos (onsite steakhouse) provided us with a most taste-tantalizing dining experience.

Nicely decorated hotel in downtown RochesterPosted Feb 5, 2015
Pros: Location in downtown Rochester and close proximity to Eastman School of Music
Cons: Breakfast was just OK but was free, so maybe I shouldn't complain. Coffee pot was empty every morning, and no one seemed to be replenishing food.
Location: Near restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. 2 blocks from Eastman School of Music. Across from the Contemporary Art Museum. Near bookstore.
Spent four nights at the Inn on Broadway while visiting our son, a graduate student at Eastman School of Music. Had easy walking access to hear his recital and also the Eastman Philharmonic. Our room was nicely decorated and very comfortable.

highly recommendedPosted Jan 28, 2015
Pros: The character and the history.
Location: Central location - convenient for business, as well as downtown
Very positive experience - I deliberately chose this hotel because I was tired of the generic, identikit hotels that represent 90% of the market. This hotel has individually decorated rooms with character. They were warm, clean good-sized. Staff were also very friendly and capable. I will be staying here again if I return to Rochester.
