“Convenient and Clean”

We stayed at the Kahler Inn and Suites for two nights while on Clinic visits. We were impressed with the hotel, noting that it had been all renovated since our last stay there. We booked a mini-suite and the only negative we could see about the suite was the bathroom was extremely small. The parking is awkward and not convenient if you lose your parking space in the alloted areas, example, shopping or dining somewhere out of the area, you will have a hard time finding one again in the hotel parking area, we had to park in a adjacent parking ramp when we returned from a shopping trip, so keep in mind if you leave you may not have a spot in the hotel parking when you return.

“Will be back next year, great place to stay.”

The location was great. Never had to go outside, just drop into the tunnel system to go to clinic. Clean room, clean lobby and free parking. Would recommend to any one going to Rochester. The only down side was no microwave in the room. You had to pay a lot more for a room with a microwave. A microwave is needed when you are a patient going to the clinic.

“As always, the Kahler Inn and Suites met our needs”

We stay there every two weeks because of medical appointments at hte Mayo Clinic. As always, this hotel did not disappoint. Clean and quiet. Comfortable beds. Being located directly across from the Mayo buildings is a great big plus!! Free parking. The subway system is wonderful!! (It is a walking subway). The underground system is connected to shops, restaurant and the Mayo bluidings. Extremely glad it is available in bad weather. Also, on the lobby level, there is a Caribou Coffe Shop and Jimmy Johns available, along with the hotels own restaurant (food is ok). Victoria's Italian Restaurant and Micheals Steakhouse as accessible via subway, a little pricely, but the servings of food is huge and very, very good. Both Mac's and Panakokeen serve good food at reasonalbe prices. All are within walking distance of the hotel.

“Would Stay Here Again”

I stayed here due to the proximity of the hotel to Mayo Clinic. Underground network made it easy to access the clinic without stepping foot outside. Parking, continental breakfast and Wi-Fi was included. Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant.

“Nice, reasonably priced little hotel - we will be back!”

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and quiet, and our 2-queen room looked exactly like it does in the photos. The beds were very comfortable and each one had four big fluffy pillows! The location was perfect for our visit to the Mayo and there is a subway from the hotel so you can walk indoors to the clinic and other hotels in the area. (The subway is also home to various specialty shops.) I can't say enough about how kind and helpful the staff was; they validated our parking ticket for an additional day in spite of the fact we had to check out before we were done at the clinic. There is also a Caribou coffee shop and a Jimmy Johns right off the lobby. We did notice some hair on the bathroom floor when we checked in, and the bottom of the ice bucket looked like there was some residue in it, but otherwise we have no complaints. Due to time constraints we did not have time to eat there, so I can't comment on the free breakfast. The place was busy, though, which leads me to believe there are may others who enjoy this hotel as much as we did! We will be returning here in two weeks.

“Good clean experience”

Kahler Suites & Inn made a good impression with a clean facility and updated renovations. The Staff were helpful, pleasant, and appreciative. The people at the front desk were professional in their work with you. Each person was easy to understand and spoke clearly.

“Would Def Recommend!”

when we were ther they were painting and cleaning the garage, so we had to park a block away in another lot. the parking was still free, but a bit of a hassle. the maid/cleaning service women were very nice and accomadating. we were there for the mayo clinic, therefore the location was extremely convenient. the mayo clinic is litterally accross the street.

“Extremely Underrated!”

When I made reservations at the Kahler Inn and Suites, I was hesitant because it was only getting a 2 1/2 star rating. I liked the fact that it was within walking distance to the Mayo Building, it had free continental breakfast and free parking. It did say that it had been newly renovated so I thought it can't be that bad and I won't be staying that long. It turned out to be a terrific hotel! It is extremely underrated! It was clean, the beds were so comfortable, and it was so convenient to the Mayo Clinic. The continental breakfast was fine. My only complaint was that there wasn't enough parking available, but there is a huge parking garage available right next door. It was quiet and very clean. The employees were very nice. It also connects directly to the underground "subway" which is like a little city down there connecting the Kahler to other buildings across the street, like the Mayo building as well as others. I would recommend anyone to stay there. If you plan on staying for a long stay, a microwave might be nice, but otherwise, I give it 4 1/2 stars!
