I am a travel nurse who works nights so I sleep during the day. During the time of my reservation, right as I was falling asleep, very loud banging began to happen right outside my window. I opened the curtain slightly and saw a man's boots right outside of my window with a piece of equipment, fixing the roof. I went down to the front desk to ask if there was another room I could move to, the general manager Jennifer, stated that it was out of her hands and that they didn't have a room of the same type to move me to, therefore there was nothing that could be done and that I would just have to deal with the constant banging while trying to get sleep, not to mention having a man directly outside my window, while staying somewhere as a single female. I called Expedia to ask for a refund, and after the representative called the property to speak with them, they continued to deny my request for a refund. This is insane and I would not recommend ever staying at this property. I will also mention that the room was dirty/dusty and hadn't been throughly cleaned in a long time. There was dust/dirt in the compartment where the refrigerator sits, the hinges of the door were covered in dust and the corners of the rooms hadn't been vacuumed in what looked to be a long time. Two of the times I took a shower, the water was lukewarm and wouldn't get any hotter. Overall I would not recommend this property at all.

I want to first clarify that we did in fact ask if you'd like to be moved and your response was that you'd prefer not to move all of your belongings. For a situation like that, as our roof needed to be fixed, that would have been the only solution. As for the cleanliness, our housekeepers do an amazing job cleaning the rooms and our housekeeping managers thoroughly check the rooms before we put them back into our system to sell. I will look into these issues, but I assure you that we did everything we could to correct this issue that occurred during your stay. We appreciate your feedback, and hope you allow us to make a better impression in the future.

Location was great to our venue, but bed pillows were square (?) & ended up with neck pain, TV would come in consistently (kept getting poor signal error message), back door entrance would not unlock with card key & juice machine was out of order for breakfast. Will not stay again.

The pillows look like squares because of how tight they are tucked during the cleaning process, but if you prefer to untuck the pillows when sleeping that is perfectly fine too! Thankfully, we just upgraded all of our TVs in the rooms so we should not be having any issues with them moving forward. I do apologize for the inconvenience. As for the juice machine, we have called in the issue and are simply waiting for parts to replace it, and it should be up and running in no time. I do apologize that your key was not opening the back door, I will send our chief of maintenance to take a look at that and get it fixed as soon as we can.Thank you for choosing to stay with us, we hope we can serve you better in the future.

My Go-to spot it to get away!! Location has walkable gas station food and target/weg if needed. Complimentary breakfast has great options, service is super kind, rooms clean. Internet can be a little wonky at times but it’s free. Only thing I wish the side doors worked for the smoking areas, tried to be as polite to others as I could- but have to walk around the the back or front because the doors weren’t taking our key.

I requested a suite on Expedia and had the confirmation, but there wasn't one available at check-in so I had to take a room with two queen beds. There were only two bath towels, one hand towel and the sheer curtains on the window were non-existent even though the curtain rods were there. Staff was wonderful, common areas clean and the breakfast was good.

Up-to-date and clean.
Place was up-to-date and relatively new. Great condition, very clean. Eco-friendly showerhead was pretty poor, but eveything else went just fine. Allowed our dogs for a charge. Real basic room, bed and bathroom. We were there less than 24 hours and it was perfect.

The room was clean, as were the common areas of the hotel. The included breakfast was sparse but did provide enough choices. My only complaint here was the yogurts in the fridge were expired by two weeks. I pointed this out to staff, but the same yogurts were still available the next day. Overall, I would stay here again since it is also reasonably priced.

The property itself is very clean and well kept. The only issue I had was the fact that the room my partner and I occupied had a very strong smell of mold or something of the like. It was very noticeable, since the room my sister booked didn’t have any sort of smell to it. Definitely very distracting from the rest of my experience. I’ve never had a bad experience at any Microtels so this was unusual to me.

Dear Mary, Thank you for choosing Microtel Inn and Suites, we appreciate your feedback. I am sorry to hear there were some issues during your stay, although we do appreciate the attention brought to these issues because it allows us to correct them. We do apologize for our breakfast selection not being satisfactory, unfortunately we do not have the supplies and appliances needed to offer hot breakfast items such as sausage, bacon or eggs. We will be getting a waffle machine in the near future, which we are happy to be adding to our selection! We do have fresh fruit every morning, I will remind our team that it needs to be taken out every morning, and we are very sorry if we were out of stock during your stay. Nonetheless, we appreciate your business and hope you give us the opportunity to serve you better in the future. Have a great day!

Our stay was really pretty nice. Our room was right off the lobby but wasn’t too loud. The room was very clean and the beds and pillows were super comfortable and clean. They were short staffed and our room wasn’t able to be cleaned the third night of our stay but the desk staff switched out our towels for us as soon as they were available. The breakfast choices weren’t the best but they had the basics. The desk staff were wonderful and helpful and friendly. We would stay here again for the cleanliness alone and the staff.
