Could certainly be improved with soap

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: The fact that there was a microwave and a completely empty fridge (to stock your own food and drinks) in the room was nice.
Cons: It could have been worth the cost of the hotel stay if only it was a cleaner.
Location: It was close to the airport (but it wasn't right on the runway) so the location was good. Very close to many restaurants and shops/mall.
It seemed OK on first glance but the sheets and comforter had a very weird yellow stain. It wasn't a pleasant night sleep thinking about dirty sheets. There was a wedding taking place that evening, so downstairs at the indoor pool it seemed like all the adults dropped their children off while reception was taking place. Or neighborhood children got into the pool area because we saw them all leaving together before the party was over. It was uncomfortable for actual guests to enjoy a swim with so many screaming children.

Excellent for night stay

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Location, close to university, shopping.
Cons: Staff training on customer relation.
Location: Its not very close to airport, but not too far either. Close to shopping, university etc.
Apart from standing in the line for more than 15 minutes for registration my experience during this stay was great!. There was not even a polite apology from the front desk staff to keep customer waiting. Sleep number bed was comfortable, temperature was adequate and amenities were of standard.

regular hotel

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: close to shopping area and other restaurants.
Cons: ventilation needs improvement in the building.
Location: mall, theater, and restaurants
we stayed on the second floor overnight on friday. the noise from people next door laughing and talking went well past 12:30am. i was so tired that i slept thru it anyway. there is a musty, unpleasant odor in the building, in the elevator, and in the room. the room is overall clean. the bathroom has a duct with no fan/minimal ventilation. just a single switch to turn on the light. the pool is decent size and bright with sunlight during the morning. the water is relatively clean but there are some areas where i saw particles on the waters. i did not get to use the other facilities nor the cafe. drove to panera bread 5 mins away for breakfast instead. there is a $20 pending charge to my credit card on the day i check in that non of the staff at the front desk had told me about. i found out a day later after i checked my card info and called them up. they said it's some fee that they will take off soon. lets wait and see.

Nice location to conduct my business

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Proximity for my intended business
Cons: Offer complimentary continental breakfast
Location: Shopping, visit to R.I.T, and if you don't mind travelling, go to Niagara Falls. Awesome scenery!
Overall, the experience was not too bad. Rooms were clean. However, it was too rowdy; lot of kids stayed in the hotel for a tournament. Too much running around with little or no adult supervision, or consideration for other guests.

Overrated hotel

Posted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Room conditions
Location: Close to universities, airport and shopping.
I did not have pleasing experience with my stay. The room was an accessible room which I never requested. Nothing was done even after communicating this problem. To my surprise the morning staff told me that they could have changed the room since they had several empty rooms. Some of the cable channels did not have voice which was fixed some time later. There were two phones in the room, one did not even have a dial tone and other one has seen its better days. The fridge was full of frost, seemed like it has not been defrosted for months. I think the hotel is overrated for what its worth.

Nice stay a night before you fly from ROC

Posted May 30, 2014
Pros: Sleep Number bedding system.
Cons: Better food at the restaurant.
Location: Not much. If you have a car, no problem You can find a lot of things.
Pleasing stuff took care of our request of changing rooms and etc. The room was spacious and was equipped with Sleep Number bedding sets. Very comfortable sleep we got. The airport shuttle goes every half hour from 5am. No attractions in walking distance. It is a great place to stay a night before you fly from ROC early morning.

Very convenient to the local Universities.

Posted May 21, 2014
Pros: Location and ease of chick in/check out.
Our experience staying at this hotel for our son's graduation from the University of Rochester couldn't have been better. They even provided van service to and from the ceremony on campus! So convenient!
