The lady who “greeted” us at the front desk was so rude. And then she was rude to the sweet elderly couple next to us when they asked for directions. Kinda put a damper on our first impression of the place. We asked for a rollaway bed for our kids and it made God awful sounds every time they moved. There were drunk people up and down the halls and next to us. We could hear the elevator ding loudly through the walls. The pool was ok but what the heck was going on with the tiny towels? The best part about it was that it was super clean and at least we are grateful for that. And grateful to be able to stay in a hotel, the employees just weren’t very nice and it was loud.

We loved this place! We found it by accident and we were a little confused as to whether this was a hotel or a dorm. It didn’t matter because we were very pleased with the accommodations. After having a conversation with a friendly employee I understood a little more about the history of this place and it made me like it even more! We travel this route frequently to visit our grandchildren in Canada and will definitely stop here again? My only complaint - I wish they used less plastic. And had morning coffee :)

I would not recommend this location unless it’s absolutely the last place to stay in Rochester. Rooms and bed need to be replaced and updated. Walls are paper thin. Bathroom sink is in an awkward corner while the lightning is in a different location. My thermostat would either make the room a furnace or an ice box.
