Great stayPosted Mar 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed for two weeknights mostly for our 4-year-old son to play in the pool. It was perfect for him, and often we were the only people in the pool area. The whole place was very clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was great. Highly recommended!

Uninformed hotel staff! Room was nice though.Posted Feb 19, 2013
Pros: The spacious room (kitchen/studio), two windows.
Cons: The unfriendly, uninformed, unhelpful staff. No manager on duty upon check in!
Location: Right off the main hwy that runs through Rochester, MN (Hwy 52).
When we arrived at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon, we were told there might not be rooms available for check in yet. The front desk staff was very uninformed and were unable to get ahold of anyone in housekeeping. They had to physically go and check the rooms to find us a "clean" one. The room itself was big and spacious (we had a kitchen/studio). There were two windows also which let in a lot of light. The next morning there were kids running up and down the halls and doors being slammed well before 9am. Very rude! The walls are paper thin too. Not that it's the hotel itself's fault, but they could deal with it. Then upon checkout, they were unable to explain why the paperwork showed an incorrect address for me. The manager was also argumentative at times in regards to the issue. I will never stay here or at another Towne Place Suites again unfortunately.

Great hotelPosted Jan 19, 2013
Pros: my room
Cons: only complaint would be that the floors aren't very thick and I could hear people walking (stomping) above me.
Location: conviently located; about 5 to 10 minute drive to Mayo Clinic/downtown. I like it because it is easy to park at then a dowtown hotel.
The hotel was fresh, clean, warm and the ameneties were comfortable. I don't like to stay at hotels where the bed makes you nervous and you can't sleep well. I booked this hotel at the last minute for a business trip and the reviews were good; the hotel did not disappoint. I had a studio room but it was huge and the bed was very comfortable and clean! The breakfast in the morning was nice and the staff was very friendly. I would stay here again. This seems like a newer hotel.

This is the hotel where we will stay every time we come to Rochester . The cleanest quietest hotel we have ever stayed at . The grandkids love the pool. Thanks Town Place.

Rooms were good, but the couch was hard as a rock. An end table would be useful also.

Pleasantly surpised!Posted Jan 17, 2012
Pros: The pool area, room and breakfast.
Cons: location. would have like to walk, although part of that is that it was cold and windy.
Location: Off of exit 58 in Rochester, Mn
The pool was amazing, the breakfast was really nice and well presented. Scrambled eggs, potatoes, and sausage. Along with lots of other items, hot and cold cereal. muffins, coffee, juice and skim milk and 2% both. Staff was very freindly. My only issue at first was I thought it was down town Rochester. But come to find out there are 5 Marriotts in Rochester. We would recommend this hotel, Room was very large with a king bed and a queen size pull out couch.Full size frig, 2 stove burners and even a dish washer. Great weekend with the family.
