Ok place to stay.

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: We have stayed here twice before and the staff is always very professional and helpful.
Cons: Warmer room.
Location: We couldn't find anything nearby to do during our leisure time.
The room was clean, the staff was friendly. However, they no longer have a free breakfast which was a disappointment. The biggest disappointment was that our room was very cold. The temperature was in the twenties on the days we stayed but our room was still too cool to be comfortable. There was no extra bedding to place on the bed. It may have be available if I had asked at the desk, but who wants to wander down to the Lobby in the middle of the night.

Short Stay

We had a very brief stay as we were on our way early in the morning to visit family. The hotel was close to the airport and easy to find.

Hotel with shuttle service to Mayo Clinic

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Cons: Shuttle information Restaurant adjoining is poor
When checking in, I enquiries about the shuttle service to the Mayo clinic. The staff informed me that the shuttle was not running the next day due to Martin Luther King day, although the Clinic was open. The next morning, I had overheard a staff member talking on the phone that the shuttle indeed was running. I was then able to obtain the shuttle. The Hotel does not serve a continental breakfast, but there is a new bar/restaurant attached. Since, I was running late, with the new news of the shuttle, I I went to the restaurant for a quick breakfast. They only serve cold cereal and oat, meal, and had only been open in the last 6 mos. I was the only customer at 7:30 AM. The oatmeal serving was huge and filling. I was told when checking in that the hotel would need a record of my credit card for incidentals. After checking my VISA online transactions, I was charged $20 for incidentals that I had not purchase. I was told that the amount would get credited to my account in 5 days. With all the credit card fraud going on, this was not information well received. Yes, I had been told that they require a credit card number, but not told specifically that a charge would occur. The room was nice, clean and comfortable, however when starting up the shower, the was was rusty. It cleared after a minute or so. This could be a city water problem and something that the hotel can't control. Shuttle service was prompt and efficient. Hotel a Staff were friendly.

Reasonable price for their service

Posted Jan 13, 2015
The staffs were friendly and helpful. As another positive point, the hotel had a free shuttle to the Mayo Clinic and Apache mall. Although the hotel has been renovated but the heating system is old and there is no automatic temperature control! (Turning on the heater made the room too hot and turning it off made the room too cold).

No breakfast that is provided by the hotel. Adjacent restaurant is too expensive and does not provide a replacement
