Very happy with room. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff.

Rooms were clean, fresh and quiet and the front desk/housekeeping staff were all extremely nice and very professional - as good as I have seen at 5-star hotels. The hotel appeared to have undergone a renovation withing the past year or two and overall upkeep of facility was really good. We used this hotel for a weekend visit to Carowinds and it was pretty convenient to that location as well as to a number of dining establishments in the immediate vicinity or at exits a few minutes up the interstate.

This hotel is convenient and easy to get to right off of I-77. There are several chain eateries within walking distance. The lobby was fresh and contemporary. The rooms were clean and nice appointed. We felt the beds were a bit soft, unusual for a hotel like this, but they were not worn or old, just soft by design. The staff was helpful in regards to the area and places to eat (besides the chains). We will go back when in the area.

The room was attractive and spacious. One thing that was unpleasant was the smell of smoke in my room. I determined that it was coming from the people smoking around the fire pit. The HVAC was pulling smoke into my room. I caution anyone with allergies to request a room on the front of the building. The rooms on the back side can be tainted by smoke from people outside.

Only stayed here one night while passing through area exceptionally clean.

My husband and I drive an hour every so often to stay in this hotel for the night. Anita at desk services, is always friendly and willing to help us in any way. The room is so comfortable and relaxing. There are restaurants within walking distance that will also deliver to your room. In the morning, complimentary coffee is always a plus. We will keep coming back to this hotel for an under $100 mini vacation away from daily life.

Very nice hotel, a little off the usual path. Room was nice, good eateries.
