Nice hotel

Staff was very friendly and fast we were inour room within in minutes. The pool was outside, so no swimming for us. But the room was quiet and the breakfast was great. Check out was just as fast. The location after turning off the main rd was a bit confusing, but we found it... Will stay there next year when we return for our next event.

Staff great, room not clean and stocked

The sofabed had dirty sheets on it even though I specified five people (2 adults and 3 kids) in room so they knew we'd need it. Also, king sized bed had clean sheets but some sort of sand all over sheets that had to be brushed off to sleep. Only three towels in room, no extra pillows. We had to make many extra trips to front desk to get what we needed. Staff very friendly and check in process was very quick!

Good location for sporting events

Pros: location and staff
Our stay was good in that we were there for a tournament at Manchester Meadows so was 5 minutes away. It was also very easy to get to from the airport in charlotte. it was close to shops and restaurants. Unfortunately we had a king bed and a fold out bed. the fold out bed was ridiculously uncomfortable. There was plenty of room for another bed. It made no sense to me. The room was not cleaned primarily becasue by the time they came to clean we were back for our afternoon break from the tournament. Housekeeping was very friendly and did bring us clean towels but it would have been nice if they could have come earlier in the day.

Good hotel for one night

The hotel was very clean and the staff were nice but not professional. We did call down for an extra towel and never got it. The bed wasn't very comfortable but will do for one night. When we left around 5am, there was rap music playing in the lobby and no staff to be found. I walked around and found a young man in the kitchen preparing food and he couldn't hear me calling to him because he had ear buds in listening to music. I'm sure that's not safe.

Cons: Side door which had a sign that said needed room key to open was always unlocked. Anyone could have walked in. Cigarette butts outside of doorway.
Breakfast is very good with lots of choices. I stayed in 2 rooms over a 4 day stay. Both rooms were clean. Staff friendly and courteous. Reservation request to be on same floor as family member was not honored but it was changed for the next day. Both rooms were noisy at times. Not sure why.

There was a swishing noise every 5 minutes. Was hard to get to sleep and stay asleep. No rooms to be switched too. Breakfast was crazy as there were 4 teams staying at the hotel

Maintenance lacking

I made an advanced reservation, then was put in a ADA room, that had a door lock that wouldn't lock and ADA valve loose in the shower. I'm not paid to inspect the room.

Nice place to stop

CHeck in was very smooth as the clerk was very helpful. It was very hard to find the hotel. Better signage is needed.
