“Room for improvement”

Hotel staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was better than a continental, but it is not a restaurant. The room was clean, but the bathroom required maintenance, i.e. bath valve surround was broken, floor tiles were broken, ceiling texture was cracked and missing. Jameson Inns needs to do a thorough maintenance inspection and get this one back up to proper operation. The pool is very small, approximately 12'x20'. There are only 3 hotels/motels in Lancaster and this was the better rated hotel. I hope they improve.

“Won't Go Back - Pet Allergies”

For several years this was the only hotel that we stayed in when visiting family in the area. We never had an issue but, during our last stay we discovered they allow pets in the rooms. Although, the desk clerk told me they allowed only small pets, I have allergies and the hotel doesn't have specific rooms for pet-owners. We didn't see the cleaning service make any special effort to change bed spreads or clean the carpets after people with pets checked out. Therefore, we won't be staying at this hotel again. hotels that allow pets should have a room policy similiar to the ones they have for smoking rooms. Customers should have a choice.
