DisappointedPosted Feb 1, 2014
The floors in my room were wet. I didn't realize it until I was unpacked and took off my shoes. The carpet was soaked and my sock were now socked. I complained but they didn't seem to care. I whole place smelled of tabacco smoke.

Everything within walking distancePosted Nov 1, 2013
Pros: There was a great breakfast and the bed/bedding was comfortable
Cons: The bathrooms could use a little updating/maintenance. There was some mildew in the grout lines
Location: Close to Interstate 80, the mall and grocery store
In town two separate stays within a week. We ended up with the same room. It was comfortable and had basically everything that we needed. There was a good selection of breakfast items for the morning. The price was kind of high, however.

Hotel and staff top-notch!Posted Oct 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hubby and I traveling Wyoming taking it all in and stopped here. Room great! Clean, comfortable, slept like babies, we did. Hot coffee and cookies and good breakfast. Staff unbelievable. Hubby left behind his favorite boots and staff prompt to mail right out to him. Made his day. I personally didn't care for them,,.lol. We will definitely stay here again and recommend you do so, too. Cannot beat location and price, cannot match hotel staff!

Stayed here as we were driving from California to Colorado. Was perfect for what we needed. Dog friendly!! Rooms were nice for what they are, beds were fine. Staff got us ice from the kitchen when we needed some. Breakfast was good. No complaints. We'd stay here again.

This La Quinta is not worthy of the name La QuintaPosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: The bed was nice, it felt like a standard La Quinta bed. That is it.
Cons: Tear it down. This hotel is a dump.
Location: It's on I-80 in Wyoming, 99% of the people are driving through.
I have stayed at numerous La Quinta hotels all over the United States. Fremont, Orlando, Columbus, Kennewick WA and finally Rock Springs. I LOVE La Quinta, they are clean, comfortable and affordable. EXCEPT for Rock Springs. This hotel is a DUMP. 1. Carpet was filthy. 2. Electrical cords and power strip laying in plain sight. 3. Towels were dingy and stained. 4. Toilet would flush for nearly a minute, I had to jiggle the handle. 5. Bathroom was tiny, had to nearly stand in the bathtub to close the door. 6. Shower head sprayed water onto toilet. 7. Curtains would not stay closed. 8. Two light bulbs burned out. 9. Overall feel of hotel was low class. I would NEVER stay at this La Quinta ever again. It almost feels like an old Motel 6 or worse. I paid almost $100 for something that should have rented for $30.

Not at all satisfiedPosted Sep 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Typical to older hotels the rooms stink highly of cleaners to mask the smells, Internet was way too slow to be able to attend to business, I've stayed in many La Quinta hotels before, this one was very old! My no smoking room must have been a converted smoking room, I guess it's ok to smoke in the hallways as somehow smoke was entering my room, I woke up at 3am to the smell of cigarette smoke and noticed the hallway light gleaming around my door on the bottom and 2 sides? Worn out seals ! In the morning I went to the breakfast area, I overheard 3 people saying that that was the worst hotel breakfast they have ever had. I should've listened but had to find out myself, Oh My it was bad and straight out of a box, even the orange juice was way watered down. Needless to say I won't stay there again ! Kinda gave me a bad impression for that hotel chain, pics looked great!
