Pros: the diner on the property
Cons: start over
Location: location is across the street from a good visitor center
poor security, doors propped open, windows ajar, just worn out equipment, loud

Oak Tree Inn

Hotel is great. Only problem is no elevator. Best part is Penny's Diner connected with it for food. Authentic 50's diner.

1st choice in Green River

Nice room, good value. The full breakfast at the diner beats the usual breakfast line found in hotel lobbies! My first choice in green River.

Close to freeway

Posted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Updating.
Location: Diner close to hotel. There is not much to the town. It is an railroad/industrial town.
The hotel is on the main drag and close to the freeway, but it does not have any special features. It is a good place to stay if you climb stairs OK and just need a place to rack out.

The stay was great. The diner connected to this hotel was the best part of the stay. A lot of pride in their food and their facility.

Best bang for the buck.

Although this is not a five star hotel, for the price, it is one of the nicest I have stayed at for thsat price. Room was clean, staff was friendly and had a good night sleep. View of the hills is great. Also, a very dog friendly hotel. Would stay again and recommend to anyone.
