The Country Inn at Camden-Rockport was conceived and built to provide our guests with the ambiance of yesteryear with the amenities of today. From rooms with the comfort and feel of a New England Show more Farmhouse to the availability of WI-FI, the Inn meets our guests' needs. Our staff is there to assist with any problem or concern, and can help with every aspect of our guests stay from where to get dinner, to planning a day trip or where to see a puffin. Situated on five acres of landscaped property, the Inn is just one mile south of downtown Camden which surrounds one of the most beautiful harbors on the coast and five miles north of Rockland which has developed into an active arts and ocean related community. There is plenty of space to stroll, have a pick up ball game, or just relax and enjoy the day. The Inn property includes 36 suites in the main building and 11 more in freestanding seasonal cottages. All provide comfortable, homey surroundings, and are equipped with service bars, refrigerators, and pull out couches for the extra guest or child. Rooms are set up with a choice of two-queen size or single king size bed, some feature whirlpool tubs or fireplaces. Activities at the Inn range from a chess or Scrabble game in the library to a workout in the exercise room. There is a large indoor pool as well as a hot tub and sauna. Each morning guests are treated to our Country Breakfast Buffet, which includes fresh baked breads, fruits, and quiche. In the afternoon there are pastries at teatime. Evening brings the Inns chocolate chip cookies to top off the day. Groups are welcomed. The combination of comfort and facility has made the Inn a favorite of small groups for retreats, and businessmen for extended stays. Relaxing toward productivity is supplemented by quality-catered food service as needed. The Country Inn provides the ideal setting to enjoy the mid-coast whatever the reason for the visit. “Ultimate in hospitality”

Combination inn/motel provides ultimate in hospitality and coziness while rooms are large and welcoming. Breakfast is amazing and added benefit of indoor pool, whirlpool and exercise room. Ideal location for travellers.

“Very warm and friendly atmosphere, clean rooms and great service”

Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere, breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Tea time and cookies in your room was a very nice touch, as well as having your bed turned down and fresh towels every day. Nice spot, would definitely return

“Maine perfection”

The country Inn offers the best aspects of a B&B and a hotel, and is also close to and conveniently midway between Camden and Rockport. Grounds are meticulously landscaped and cared for.

“Rockport Camden and dog-friendly”

“Great experience!”

My Wife and I just stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our first anniversary weekend. I had first booked one of the larger king size Jacuzzi rooms, but after looking online, realized I really wanted to Jacuzzi cottage. I called the hotel and the lady at the desk actually got up and went and compared the 2 rooms and told me that not only did she think I would be better off in the cottage, but she upgraded me for no charge. The next day, we got back from a day trip to find a bottle of champagne on ice with a nice fruit and cheese platter for our anniversary. We also thoroughly enjoyed the room. It has a big Jacuzzi tub right out in the open area, which we loved. Overall the room was cozy, but had all the amenities you would need. They even brought us warm cookies in the downpouring rain! It was random, but who ever complained about random warm cookies?? Overall, we had a great experience, I would recommend it to anyone, and plan on staying there again.

“Very accomodating”

We requested a different room upon check-in. The staff made the change quickly. Very family friendly. There is even an indoor children's play room. The drive into Camden is very congested, but this is a good option if you can't stay in town.
