Staff was truly great and very accomodatingPosted Aug 20, 2014
My fiance and I just got engaged on a hike in RMNP and then came down the mountain and checked into our hotel. It isn't the greatest hotel in Estes Park but I will always remember this as a wonderful vacation. It's a great place for the budget. The staff was very nice and incredibly accomodating. Theresa and the manager were just great employees and deserve raises.

Good value.Posted Aug 18, 2014
Building is old and fraying, but essentials are well kept up. Pool heat is extra nice. "Free breakfast" is more basic than the full breakfast bar that some hotels have, but is also more than just bagels and juice. Staff is enthusiastic about providing a good stay experience.

Great location and value.Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: We loved the location. Our bathroom had a fantastic shower, and the room had a small fridge, which was very helpful. Enjoyed breakfast also.
Cons: The bed was too firm for us and the TV was old and out of focus. But we do understand that what we paid was not high.
Location: A 15 minute walk to the wonderful Estes visitors' center & a minute beyond that to great restaurants and shops. A 15 minute drive to the nat'l park.
We enjoyed our stay and this fit our goal of keeping cost down while being conveniently located to the Rocky Mountain park entrance and downtown Estes.

Bare bones motelPosted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Location, price
Cons: Everything was barely ok. Better blankets, fixing ripped screens.
Location: Great hiking nearby. Close to (free) shuttles into Rocky Mountain National Park.
Room not very hospitable, but cheap. Good location.

Great staffPosted May 24, 2014
Athough no one was there to greet us, there was a sign with a number to call. Once she arrived, the woman checking us in could not have been more helpful.

Great location!Posted Oct 8, 2010
We went at the peak of the season. The hotels we normally stay at were booked. There were very few rooms left in town. This is a very run down hotel, but it was very clean inside the room. The location is excellent. If we run into the same situation again I would stay at this hotel.

Clean MotelPosted Sep 30, 2008
This hotel is clean. Our two big things we have against it is the TINY bathrooms and grumpy manager's wife. There was a microwave and small frig in the room.
