Really great lodge!Posted Sep 10, 2013
Pros: Location, cooking facilities, hot tub, good wi-fi.
Cons: It's a little dated, but nothing dissimilar to many, if not most big park venues.
Location: Uhhh, Rocky Mountain National Park.
This lodge is very close to the Fall River gate, has an awesome private hot tub, a BBQ grill and full kitchen, nice balcony overlooking the river, very comfortable and convenient. Have been to Estes Park several times, and will plan on coming back to this lodge on the next visit.

Nice rustic condo, close to Rocky Mtn Natl ParkPosted Aug 4, 2013
Pros: - Gorgeous view - Excellent location - Private hot tub - Charming, comfortable room
Cons: - No a/c - Entry hallway and staircase look very run down. - 10am check-out time is ridiculous. 11 would be reasonable, noon would be better.
We were overall very happy with Fawn Valley Inn. The price was fair, and the condo itself was beautiful. Though it wasn't the most modern or luxurious, it was exactly the sort of comfortable, rustic charm we were expecting based on the pictures. And having a private hot tub on the balcony was great! The only complaint we had was that the interior staircase and hallway leading to our unit was very run down looking. To be honest, we had a moment of panic walking to the unit, thinking the condo itself would look like the hallway - but fortunately this was not the case. Still, first impressions are important, and I would suggest to management that they make the effort to improve the interior hallways and staircases.

Very relaxing, close to the riverPosted May 13, 2013
Cons: Only recommendation - replace the futon with a regular couch - would be more comfortable for those of us who like to fall asleep watching tv.
Location: Everything you need is in the town of Estes which is very close and convenient. We enjoyed the Inn's location so much, that we didnt venture out much
We are used to paying alot more for a mountain condo in Steamboat. This condo was 1/3 the price, had excellent access to the river, abundance of wildlife to watch, and was just so cozy being able to use a "woodburning" fireplace (instead of gas). It is an older facility, but after we settled in, we enjoyed every minute we were there.
