Nice hotel in Estes

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: I liked the individual patios on each room and the enormous pool area.
Cons: The staff could be a little nicer.
Location: Lots of fun places. The Estes Park brewerly and Snowy Winery are a MUST to do. Both places were super friendly, and very fun. Lonigans was great!!!
The hotel was nice, the rooms were large and very comfy. The hotel staff were grumpy and kinda rude when we got there. We had asked for a fridge the day before and were told it would be no problem. When we show up, all fridges are gone and there is nothing that they can do. Seemed a tiny bit put out that we even asked.

Website, online pictures are better than in person

Posted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: The location to Estes Park stores.
Cons: Too much to write.
Location: Downtown tourist-y shopping, restaurants, visit the Stanley Hotel, and visit Rocky Mountain National Park.
The location was great. The lobby was nice. But as you walked to your room, you could see that the hotel wasn't as "fancy" or "mountain rustic" as the online pictures showed. The hotel smelled very much like a sterile place. The inside of the elevator was nicer than the hallways/rooms. The hallways looked like you were in a cheap hotel. When I walked past a staff member, I looked at her and said, "Hello" twice. All she did was stare at me. No "hello" back. The room itself was drafty. It was windy when we stayed there, and when the wind gusts would blow, the curtains would move as if the window was open! The walls were very thin, too. I could hear noise from both rooms on either side of us. Overall, it was not what I expected.

Our apologies! We have a hearing impaired room attendant that you may have encountered. Our rooms now have all new carpeting, lighting, and artwork. New draperies arrive next month. Our hallways were just renovated three years ago but we will be swapping out the lighting by spring. Thank you for your visit.

Stayed New Years Eve. Nice bar. Had the breakfast buffet in the morning. No frills, but reasonably-priced and convenient. Good location near town, liquor store, and Mexican restaurant .

New Year's Eve Hotel

Posted Jan 2, 2015
Location: THe Stanely Hotel and Rocky Mountain National Park are just a stones throw away.
For the price, you can not beat it! I was excpecting an older facility and room. The furnishings in the rooms were new and the bed was comfortable. Very clean and a good breakfast buffet. Great place to stay cheap in Estes Park. Indoor pool great for the kids!

Nice Place to Stay in Estes Park

Posted Dec 20, 2014
Pros: Close to everything.
Cons: The hot Tub/ Whirl Pool was cold. The Pool was warmer.
Location: Very Close to Everything.
This Hotel was a very nice place to stay. Close to everything in Estes Park. I rated the Conditions at the Hotel a 3 only because remodeling was being done during the time of our stay. The Staff was very friendly. When we go to Estes again we will for sure stay here again.

The motels been around for quite some time, it is showing it's age, I like a comfortable pillow but these were not. The staff was very helpful and did upgrade my room as they were few visitors in the motel .
