“Perfect Retreat”

I have stayed frequently at Lakeshore Lodge and I have always had a pleasant stay. The rooms were clean, well kept, and modern. The staff was incredibly helpful in finding a restaurant for two people who couldn't be more indecisive and vague. I can't wait to come back!

“Enjoyed our stay”

The Lake Shore Lodge is in a very beautiful setting on Lake Estes at Estes Park, CO. The service was first rate, the rooms clean and well-maintained and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This is the second time we stayed at this hotel and have enjoyed our stay both times. The restaurant which is part of the hotel serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the food is delicious and the setting is perfect whether dining on the terrace outside or inside looking out the windows overlooking the lake. When we return to Estes Park we will be sure to stay at the Lake Shore Lodge again.

“A Wonderful Easter Weekend”

The hotel is in the final stages of remodel, but had no effect on us staying there. We stayed Easter weekend in a suite. It was so pleasant for all of us. Our 15 year old son slept on the queen size pull out sofa in the living room with a large maybe 42 inch flat screen television. He had his own sink and vanity. My husband and I had the bedroom with a king size bed and a 32 inch flat screen to watch in there. We also had our own sink and vanity. The bathroom was between the two rooms. It was painted and decorated beautifully. The restaurant downstairs had a wonderful menu and the service could not have been better. Our room also had a fabulous view of the lake and mountains with a private deck. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning in the future. NB Evergreen, CO

“We'll be back”

The hotel was very cooperative for a last-minute reservation when the original hotel we booked closed unexpectedly. Room was nice (pull-out couch was noisy, but that's my only complaint). Brunch was magnificent. Got to visit with the chef, who was engaging and innovative. The staff were helpful, particularly in the restaurant. Overall, quite a pleasant stay. We will be back the next time we stay in Estes Park.

Hotel and room were very nice. The service in the restaurant for breakfast was very poor and the food mediocre. They promised they would improve it.

“Big Price Small impression”

Although the lodge is esthetically pleasing on the outside and certainly the beds are as comfortable as one has ever slept in...this is were the "positives" end. First impression upon entering was the carpet; filthy! It seems the more you pay the less amenities you receive as well. We received a room with a "view" of the gravel near the front parking area, no air-conditioning, no balcony...so...so much for the "lake view!" I spent a very handsome sum of money and was very disappointed! I had to DISCOVER that they had a pool. The one attendant...I wish I knew her name...she was great...she showed us around and took pride in her management of the pool and spa. But again...had to discover for ourselves. The front desk was of little help. A total disappointment; I'd recommend staying on the Grand Lake side. A Better lake and more pleasant atmosphere for a quarter of the cost!

“Estes Park Hotel”

There aren't many choices in Estes Park. The views were great here, but I'd say the room quality was that of a 2.5-3 star hotel. Free wifi was nice.
