Très bien situé avec un personnel très gentil ,un spa avec une vue exceptionnelle !!!! L'installation est vielle et cela fait que c'est mal insonorisé cependant c' est le défaut de cette établissement. A deux minute du parc national des rockies mountaines !!!

Pros: Location and views
Cons: Offer housekeeping Services Allow diners at restaurant and bar to put charges on hotel bill More friendly staff New general manager Update rooms
Location: Hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park
Hotel did not have housekeeping services for guests. Room was small and had an odor. Hotel did not have breakfast, and guests could not put a dinner bill on their room. Hotel needs new management and an update in decor and desgin of rooms.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your concerns. As we are a vacation ownership resort, our housekeeping does not service your unit daily. We do offer a complimentary midweek cleaning for stays lasting longer than seven nights; however, you can request a service at any time for a nominal fee. Your feedback is much appreciated, as we are always looking to identify areas of improvement and looking for any possible growth opportunities. We truly hope that you will choose to stay with us again in the future and allow us the opportunity to provide you with a much more enjoyable stay.

Lovely Historic Lodge

Posted Jun 14, 2015
We made a fairly last minute decision to take a two night trip to Estes and had difficulty finding a place to stay during the busy travel month of June. So, when we found a room here we were a bit concerned about what we might have gotten ourselves into. It is an older (historic) property and does come with some of what you would expect regarding plumbing (slow flushing toilet) and noise levels, but overall we were very pleasantly surprised. The grounds and views were unbeatable. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant. The room was much nicer than expected and the beds were comfortable. The lodge is located just off the main street, but sits up on a hill so you feel like you're miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet close enough to get anywhere you want to go in town in a heartbeat. Loved it and would recommend it.

Exquisitely clean, nice views, great hot tub.

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: The location, cleanliness, nice staff - very helpful.
Cons: We just missed the opening of the restaurant by a couple of days.
Location: Easily walkable to the retail shops and restaurants in town. Close to the aerial mountainside tram and the go cart recreation areas.
Really enjoyed the personality of this historic place. Great views. Very quiet. I will come back and also recommend this lodge to our friends.

A charming historic country inn.

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: The room was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Housekeeping and restaurant were not available during the pre-season.
Location: The main attraction is the Estes Park Village and the close proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park for hiking and viewing wildlife.
This was a very comfortable historic (101 years old) country inn for a two- night pre-season stay. We were almost expecting Bob Newhart and the Darryls' to show up!

Pros: Great location, easy to walk to the town of estes.
Cons: A better website.
This hotel is really conveniently located, but has a quaint remote feeling. The staff was friendly, the hotel was warm and clean, and the views are lovely!

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, one of the main features being the really kind reception staff who couldn't do enough for us. They were very informative on where to dine and gave us some very good recommendations which we took advantage of. Would definitely stay there again! Enjoyed the ice cream social evening also!
