Absolute Rubbish !!!
We arrived Friday 1300hrs and were told the Restaurant and the bar was closed for the day due to staff party ....the hotel is in middle of an industrial estate miles from anywhere exceot the motorway. Nearest walkable shops etc are an hours walk. Saturday they made the bed refreshed the towels but not tea, coffee etc Sunday we came back to the hotel for dinner and some drinks at 1800hrs to be told the Restaurant and Bar were again shut :( on getting to our rooms neither had been serviced at all ......Disgusting state of affairs, we even get rooms serviced everyday in a Premier Inn in UK and its a fraction of the price Will Not stay here again and dont advise anyone to either.

Not ready for business.
We waited an hour for the front desk person. To com to check us i., we called the 2424 number which was always busy and ended up by leaving because we waisted an hour and she never came. The water pressure of the shower drops randomly, the carpets are filthy and they didn’t have enough keys for two people. The breakfast was ok and the cook who helped us in vain frond the receptionist was a doll.

Ideal for business
Well decorated lobby, welcoming and professional staff during check-in and check-out. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. I had twin beds, the duvet cover was too small the cushions don't give enough support. My room on the front side of the building had some noise from the busy road(s) in front of the hotel. The breakfast was very good (even during corona times) and brought to my room. Overall, a very positive experience.

Overall hotel was great, carpets in public spaces had some stains. The bar and restaurant closed very early on Saturday and Sunday around 7pm.

Regarding our bar and restaurant hours, our bar is open until midnight at weekends. Our restaurant is closed on Sunday and Saturday in the afternoon. Although, if groups want to have something in between, they can book it before arrival. All other days you can have a meal in our restaurant. Good for an overnight stay.
We had to be early in the region for a family feast. All we needed was a good bed. Everything was ok and when we visit the family we will stay again in this hotel.

This was an amazing hotel. Helpful staff and our rooms had washing machines - had we known, we wouldn't have spent 25 Euro on laundry the day before.

Good hotel overall
Fantastic rooms just one issue experienced was the fact that the air conditioning was stuck on heating and the hotel could do nothing about it on my first nights stay. Temperature in the room was 28oC. Couldn't open the window because of traffic noise. Hotel was fully booked so they were unable to move me and quite stupidly they didn't have a single fan available in the whole hotel. They fixed the air conditioning the second night. Limited free parking but I was lucky. Restaurant was nice and food was impressive.

An Excellent Base
An excellent hotel that we use regularly as our base for the International Badminton Tournament held in Roeselare. ITs only a few minutes drive from the centre of the town with its excellent food and shops. Will be using it again next year. Could do with more sugar in the rooms for tea and coffee only two sachets

Clean, modern hotel in really convenient location
It was cold and snowy when we stayed just before Christmas, but the hotel was a warm and welcome refuge! I've been to Belgium many times, but never stayed here before. The location was really convenient for travelling around the country!

We needed a hotel near Ypres and Paschendaal. This hotel suited us perfectly. It was close to the town, Roesslare and close to the motorway. The only downside was the noise from traffic, if you opened the window. We wanted an Irish coffee one evening and although the coffee machine had already been cleaned, in the bar, it was not a proble, for the bar staff to find an alternative coffee machine. Service was excellent. Very friendly staff.

give restaurant a miss if 1st night good food....
nice place to stay ...limit to any food outlets as in the idle of nowhere unless you have a car... The restaurant was very nice on first night but really bad on second night which was a really shame as recommended it to others... didn't feel welcome second night ,,,,

Fantastic place to stay.
Fantastic hotel close to motorway access. Free water on mini fridge. Free tea/coffee in room. Free onsite parking. Next yo massi e police station so very safe. 2 shower heads in shower. Large one not very powerful. Shower basin slippy when wet. Staff sprak very gpod English. Good eating places and shops close by. Not sure about bow tie and braces check in staff wear...

Very nice hotel and the staff was amazing (especially Louisa). The only downsides are that the hotel is pretty isolated (although the restaurant is pretty decent) and they started renovations at 7:04 am. The latter should be a temporary problem.

Lodging in Roeselare with great on-premises dining
The Mercure Roeselare is a new and modern hotel with very comfortable facilities. The restaurant is excellent and the staff were very helpful in boxing a breakfast for pickup prior to the opening of normal service. It is not located within easy walking distance of anything but the police station so have a car available or be ready to use a taxi service if you wish to go anywhere. The Germanic modern design is taken to extremes in the shower - while the shower stall is large and comfortable, there are no places to hang a towel or to rest soap, shampoo, etc. This appears to be a case of believing function should follow form (it shouldn't). Location and impractical bath design are the only areas of complaint, however - this is a nice hotel at a reasonable price.

We stayed at this hotel because all hotels were booked in Bruges. If you have a car and don't mind driving 30 minutes back and forth to Bruges, then this is an okay choice. It is not near anything within walking distance, and there is no amenities such as a fitness center. Overall Okay in a pinch.

The city was almost fully booked. We looked for 4 hours to find a bed. Finally at 2 am, and it was a wonderful room.
