“Excellent hotel”

Located overlooking the sea, beautifully furnished, excellently located for exploring all parts of the town and for reaching our chip via the free shuttle service, Hotel San Giorgia ssatified our every need. We arrived a bit after noon and the welcoming clerk had no problem with our going to our room before check-in time. Front desk people were cordial and helpful and the breakfast is terrific. THe owner's daughter works at the hotel and has pride in the business.

“Excellent experience”

Nice hotel, friendly staff, room had lovely balcony overlooking the sea. Excellent meal in the terrace restaurant.

“Cruise out of Rome”

Good hotel to stay at prior to cruise. Nice breakfast, good location. Not a lot to do in the town, but the convienance is very nice.

“Will stay here again”

This was a great hotel , we arrived at the hotel early 10:30am hoping we could leave our bags there and go explore. Our room was not ready ( no surprise being that early) so they up graded the room to one that was ready and it was really nice, large king size bed in the upper loft area. the bath room was a good size and all marble. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the train station and also less than 5 minutes from the port shuttle bus, so makes a great pre or post cruise hotel.

“GREAT location with views of the Mediterranean!”

Very nice hotel, very friendly, helpful staff, good breakfast buffet; room was clean and comfortable; we thought the AC didn't work but as we noticed (after a very warm night) that it could only be turned on with a remote which we didn't find till the next day! A short walk away are good restaurants and incredible gelato.

“Lovely hotel”

We stayed at the San Giorgio the night before our cruise. Lovely room and bathroom, and very clean. Breakfast buffet was included. Location is perfect -about 300 steps to the entrance of the port. The hotel staff will try to sell you a shuttle service from the hotel right to the ship for 10 euros per person. But if you can walk yourself to the entrance of the port, there are free shuttles to the ship, hence saving you some money. They will also try to convince you to make dinner reservations at the hotel restaurant, however, there are a couple of restaurants just down the street, toward the port, on the same side of the hotel - we had pizza in the farthest one and it was excellent, for a fraction of the cost. We definitely recommend this hotel.

“Perfect beginning of a wonderful vacation.”

This hotel was in a perfect location, had a real European feeling, great friendly staff. And the breakfast room was so pretty in the morning sun. Also cute boutiques, gelato and cappuccino stores nearby.

“Exceeded Expectations”

Excellent stay. Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Great staff and excellent service. We only had a one night stay at Hotel San Giorgio however could have gladly stayed longer. Location excellent for our needs.

“Wonderful hotel before a cruise!”

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Provided us with information regarding a shuttle to the ship. The breakfast that was included was very nice and overlooked the beach. Couldn't have been nicer.
