Nice hotel, great beach, easy access to town

Posted Mar 26, 2015
We stayed at this hotel for 1 week. Just had a room with a king size bed. Though the rooms are small the hotel is still a recommended stay with the nice beach, and proximity to the stores and restaurants. My family has previously stayed here, and have all enjoyed.

Great hotel close to everything in oldtown Puerto

Posted Mar 24, 2015
This hotel is a great place to stay. We did the all inclusive and the drinks and food were great. You get a specialty dinner if you stay 5 or more nights. It was delicious! Wee go out at night to different restaurants. Recommended: Pepe's with homemade guacamole and delicious Mexican food!

a Hotel that’s a Great Home-Away

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: The accommodation to our needs the few times it was necessary.
Cons: The Iguana Bar could ideally have some shading available so that guests can be comfortable in the midday sun of the day or late afternoon.
Location: The choices available close-by to enjoy just simply Peace or food, drink or entertainment, day or night are more than any one person wishes to have!
We left Playa Los Altos after only a week (due to our first week's pre-planned and Great side-trip to Manzanillo), wishing we had more time! When most people we met talked about coming there for anywhere from 3yrs to 5yrs to 20 & 30 yrs, it becomes obvious you’re not the only one who feels like this is the perfect Home-Away! The hotel services and staff, and the general 'care-alot' attitude, is what inspires us to say – don’t hesitate to check out Los Altos! The dining room services don’t disappoint with their friendliness & service, our all-inclusive experience with dining room buffet was predictable but the choice options provided extensive enough to satisfy, and the beach & pool services are Perfecto and comfortable (with muscles & smiles). Add to that the charm & professionalism of Oscar at the Iguana Pool Bar and Martha at the Front Desk being comforting Sister, you can’t help but feel that life in Paradise always feels good!

Hotel cerca de la playa

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Alberca
Cons: El desayuno

Great Vacation - Great Price

Posted Mar 22, 2015
The hotel I recently experienced was great! I chose a regular room with the all inclusive package and it was a great time! The resort is right on the beach, just steps past the pool and hot tub. Staff is friendly but it's obviously easier to communicate with them in Spanish though it seems most do speak some english. Food for the all inclusive is a buffet but items vary per meal by day so you don't feel as limited. Also drinks were good as well. Provided beach chairs and towels were great. Not to mention location of resort is close to shops, bars, and water activities. The only downfall to the trip was the shape of the resort transfers noise and echoes sounds regardless of room location. With the help of the rooms air conditioner though the outside noise becomes cancelled. I was constantly looking for reasons as to why this location was much cheaper than others but I honestly could not find one good reason to complain about this place

We love this hotel!

Posted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: The staff is super-friendly and I feel like they know us. We love the bed and shower in our.room (305). Wish I had that shower at home. It feels safe!
Cons: We aren't fans of the restaurant with all the good places to eat nearby. Also leave facecloths in rooms!
Location: This location is perfect. Out the back, the ocean. Out front, the street and everything you'd ever want to see.
We love the flavour of downtown Vallarta. We love that we have the option to use the pool at the adult-only hotel across the street. We didn't have a balcony but we enjoyed the 3rd floor balcony where we met tons of people. We might consider a larger room next time or perhaps a suite only because we found two weeks a bit long to be living out of a hotel room without even an easy chair to sit in. Part-way through, we asked for a fridge and got it almost immediately. Ice buckets would be nice though once we got the fridge we had a tiny freezer to keep a bag of ice from the bar.

Great little hotel on the beach and surrounded by many restaurants and shops. Easy walking even if somewhat impaired. This was our second stay there and the staff is very accommodating.

Love the ambience and location of the hotel

Posted Mar 12, 2015
Pros: Like the location and the staff.
Cons: Need to provide decent WiFi access in all the rooms.
Location: Right in Zona Romantica - a great place for restaurants and shops plus access to the beach and Malecon
Glad they have done some upgrades, - new beds and linens, the lighting seems better. Unfortunately they have not stopped the practice of putting their arriving guests in the worst rooms, then "negotiating" for upgrades that were already paid for, and having guests move from room to room as better ones "come available".
