Bed and BreakfastPosted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: The location and the helpful owner.
Cons: The breakfasting area and the terrace.
Location: We were five minutes from the Vatican Musuem.
This is not a hotel but a very small B & B. Owner very helpful and location excellent. Our room was very nice but we were put in a smaller room the first day and moved the next day to a bigger room which was a little annoying. Would have preferred a better breakfasting area although it was very clean. It was a continental breakfast and you had to say what you would like the night before and then this was plated and put in fridge for you with your name on it. We mostly ate out on the terrace but this was not particularly comfortable - not cushions on wicker chairs. It was a bit cluttered and the washing was hung out where you sat and ate. The back of the other tenements/apartments in this area all looked out on to this. On the whole you got what you paid for. We enoyed staying here.

Pros: Staff, location and price!
Location: Vatican city on your door step, short taxi or bus journey to everything else, we walked most of it!
Ruggero was a very considrate host and if not for him we never would have seen as much as we did in 4 days. He was always on call to help out planning our trip and recomended restaurants for us in the local area (although the one next to Millenium ice cream was not very good). Rooms were comforable, facilities and location very good. We had a slight issue with no electricity for an hour or so but that was quickly resolved. If I travelled to Rome again I would 100% stay here again, excellent value for money!

Absolutely fantastic host & accommodation!!!Posted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: We liked the location of the hotel, the room, the breakfast was plentiful, the outdoor veranda was fab, staff were both friendly & very helpful.
Cons: We were very happy with everything in regarding our stay in the b&b. I would not change anything.
Location: Metro 2minutes walk away. Lovely on street markets. Vatican city on your doorstep. View of The Basillica through the keyhole. Restaurants, bars & shops
When both my partner & I arrived, we were provided with a sight seeing itinery & fantastic tips for places in which would have been off the beaten track from the main tourist attractions along with suggestions about best times to go to the main ones to avoid queuing. This saved us a lot of time wasting as our trip was for 4 days & wanted to see all that Rome had to offer within that time. Our host Ruggero was an absolute gent & was more than happy to help us with any queries, which made our stay all the more delightful. We have made a new friend in Rome. We intend on returning in 2014.

Friendly and CleanPosted Aug 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a nice stay at AGV 2001. Located in a residential neighborhood very close to the Vatican. Family is extremely nice and accommodating. Breakfast is simple (hard-boiled eggs and cheese), but manageable. Lots of fun restaurants nearby, including an awesome Pike's Place-like market down the street. We walked everywhere, but public transit is nearby if you want/need it. Room was super clean and comfortable, with attached private bathroom. A/C. Would stay again!

Great stay in RomePosted Jun 2, 2013
Pros: Location and Ruggero's dedication and help.
Cons: Room size if any
Location: very convenient area: 5 minute walk from Vaticano Museum and Metro station with several good restaurants nearby
Very nice B &B located in a very convenient area: 5 minute walk from Vaticano Museum and Metro station with several good restaurants nearby. Very clean room and confortable bed. We found the room a little bit small. Breakfast was more than expected. Ruggero (the owner) kindly offfered ham, cheese and boiled eggs to complete the choice of croissants, cereals, yougourts, toasts. Above all this is Ruggero's dedication to make your stay an unforgetable experience. He gave us many tips for visits, itinerary, restaurants,...which were all very usefull and EXACT. The kind of service you will never find in a Hotel and that makes a big difference when you have only 3-4 days to visit Rome. WE highly recommended this B&B. Claude and Marise
