Decent but not such a comfortable LocationPosted Jun 25, 2012
Pros: the terrace and red orange juice
Location: kind of in the rough part of Rome in my opinion nothing happen to us but you just have to be on edge....there are no other tourists in this area!
This place is nice in theory but it is kind of located in the Ghetto of Rome. There is graffiti everywhere and the area is just overall kind of sketchy. If you are into that whole city rough around the edges feel then it is fine for you. We were a little nervous about the area and the Tram that takes you there gets unbelievably crowded (as in everyone shoved in like cattle pressed up against each other and more people just keep getting on!) which makes you highly susceptible to pick pocketing or having your bag sliced open and stuff stolen. Many people including the owners warned us about this so we were extra careful and had no issues. Overall it was not a bad experience but I probably would not stay here again just based on the location. The owners were nice enough. The breakfast was just salted ham, salami and some cheese, and toast and weak instant coffee but there was also really good juice.
