Great hotel! Close to a lot of major sites!Posted Oct 4, 2014
Pros: The service was great!
Location: A lot of major sites are very close to the hotel; Trevi fountain, Patheon and Piazza Novana. Two minute walk to each site.
A soon as I arrived the hotel clerk, Tommaso, was very helpful! He asked if I have booked any tours and gave me a map of how to get to the meeting spots. The roof top was great to get a drink and relax after a day of walking around.

Perfect locationPosted Sep 27, 2014
Cons: The bathroom could use some minor maintenance.
We stayed three nights. I really appreciated the e-mail from the hotel after I'd booked through Expedia sharing information about Rome, and their willingness to book any transportation needs, etc. for us. We ended up using their recommended private car to the airport, and it was a very positive experience. The hotel has the perfect location being between the Pantheon & the Trevi fountain. We were able to walk around in the evenings, being exactly at the recommended Night Walk path. Although it was the perfect location, it was also quiet - no problems sleeping. The hotel top terrace is wonderful for their ample breakfast and for an evening beverage.

Excellent hotel in midst of tourist attractionPosted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Everything - staff wonderfully receptive and helpful; room was very nice, roomy; breakfast included; all tourist attractions easily accessible.
Cons: Nothing of note!
Location: See aboive responses
The hotel and staff were excellent. A block away from Trevi Fountain, 2 blocks from Pantheon, and all other tourist attractions close by, except Vatican (one mile) and Spanish Steps (one mile), all of which are easily accessible via bus, metro and cab. The hotel was rennovated a few years ago. This is a "must" stay while visiting Roma. And, breakfast was included!

A Gem in RomePosted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: The staff are fantastic! Breakfast on the rooftop was fantastic! The location was fantastic! We felt like family & were treated as such!
Cons: Not a thing!
Location: Walking distance of the Vatican (about 20minutes), a few minutes from the Pantheon & Trevi Fountain and 10 minutes from the Spanish Steps - fabulous!
The staff (especially Tomasso) were absolutely fantastic. The hotel is unique, not for anyone who wants 5 star Sheraton luxury. But if you want a hotel with personal service, clean & comfortable rooms, an unbelievable position (within walking distance of the Vatican, a few minutes from the Pantheon & Trevi Fountain and 10 minutes from the Spanish Steps) this hotel is definitely for you. Not ideal for families with small children, but perfect for couples. Staying at Albergo Cesari, was one of the best decisions of our month long European holiday - only wish I'd have known how good it was - would have planned a longer stay!

Very nice hotel closed to a lot of nice churches IPosted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: Close to a lot of nice places to visit rome like ther Trevi fountain.
Location: Fountains, Churches and museums
Our experience was very memorable. If visiting a church in Rome please don't give money to people standing on the door pretending to be from the church. They take advantage of tourist and stand there in the door with a basket and as a tourist you think you have to pay to enter the church unless it says so , most of them are Pakistani or Romanian beggars but they dress good. There is no entrance fee to most of the old churches around Rome...

Fantastic find - right in the heart of RomePosted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: The friendliness of ALL staff, the location is excellent. This hotel is unique!
Cons: I would not change a thing - it's perfect as it is.
Location: Walking distance to Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon, Spanish Steps (all 5-10min stroll). About 20-30 min walk to the Vatican
This hotel is a gem! We received the best greeting we have had in our 4 week tour of Europe from Tomasso. He checked us in, gave us SO much information about the area, marked points of interest on a map - Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon & Spanish Steps all within walking distance. We were leaving before breakfast to take a 5 day tour of Italy (before returning to the hotel for another 2 nights, so he organised for a breakfast hamper to be delivered to our room in the evening!! Tomasso also suggested we might wish to leave some of our luggage at the hotel, and take only what we needed for the 5 days - what a Godsend, as we had two large suitcases & two "overnight" bags. We left the large cases and travelling with the small ones has made our trip through Italy so much easier! The hotel is so lovely, rooms are clean & comfortable, but the rooftop garden bar & breakfast area was a delightful oasis amid the hustle & bustle on the streets of Rome. We truly love this hotel and cannot wait to go back. After one night we felt like we were part of the family.

Perfect locationPosted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Location and great staff.
Very good experience, except that my husband became ill after the breakfast buffet one morning. Maybe food hygiene needs to be checked. Other than that, a simple but comfortable hotel, right in the heart of the historical district.

Wonderful stay at the Albergo CesariPosted Jul 24, 2014
Just returned from a one week stay in Rome and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect. You can walk to all the major attractions. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms aren't the most modern but are clean and comfortable. The rooftop breakfast is the perfect way to start your sight seeing day! I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.
