Excellent hotel near the city centre

Excellent hotel within walking distance of the city centre, through a beautiful park. Breakfast was always good and facilities such as swimming pool were great as well. Would definitely recommend.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Pros: The hotel was well maintained, our room was serviced every day. Buffet breakfast was very good with wide range of choices.Swimming pool was excellent.
Cons: The return shuttle service back to the airport was 50 mins late which was stressful following a lovely holiday, so communications needs improving.
A lovely hotel in a nice quiet area. 20 minute walk to Spanish Steps and many of the other landmarks in Rome. Bus and tram facilities nearby.

Fantastic city hotel with a pool

Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: The staff, the pool, the size of the suite and the facilities in it.
Cons: The shower was hard to regulate. A shuttle bus would really help even for a small fee, especially after 9pm
Location: Very much a quiet area. The GNAM is five minutes walk away as is entrance to park. Park is lovely to walk through during day, but need taxis at night
The whole experience at the hotel was excellent. The pool is a real highlight. Well maintained and an absolute godsend in the heat. The suite we had was fantastic and having the kitchenette with freezer and fridge was great for cooling water/drinks. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Value for money

We wanted a hotel with a pool. The facilities were excellent. The hotel is a little out of the main tourist area but is worth the extra walk for the peace and quiet. The staff were excellent - friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend this hotel highlly enough

Great hotel close to all the sights of Rome

Posted Aug 10, 2014
A family of 3 and our first trip to Rome. Accommodation was spacious, clean and perfect for us. The huge benefit was the pool. After a long day walking around Rome it was perfect to return to the tranquility of our beautiful pool equipped with bar that served snacks. Breakfast every morning was a bonus and really good. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

4 night stay

Beautiful location with tram stop literally on the the doorstep. Hotel was spotless and the staff very friendly and helpful. Constantine was particularly good providing directions and tips for eating out. Offered a large brolly on a day forecast for rain which came in very handy !! Having a pool was a real bonus for cooling off after walking in the heat. The pool was lovely and it was nice to be provided with cushions for the sun loungers and freshly laundered towels. The fresh fruit at breakfast was fantastic and again the staff were very friendly and helpful. I have ceoliac disease and they always had gluten free bread.

Great Experience

Posted Jul 22, 2014
The suite was very spacious and clean. Pool was excellent and nice to come back to every day. A little out of the way but close to the park which was a plus. Great restaurants 5 mins away, turn right out the front then right again and then to the end of the street. Take the second street on the right. Good Italian and Chinese restaurants.

A real gem

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Everything!
Location: Its very nice wandering in the Villa Borgese gardens. Also the cafe at the Museum of Modern Art is very nice (about 5 minutes walk down the hill).
Fantastic place to stay. Slightly outside the historical centre but my word, what an oasis of calm to come back to after a day sight seeing in the hustle bustle of Rome. Gorgeous pool area. Excellent housekeeping with very spotless rooms. I am particularly impressed by the removable/washable linen covers on the bed's headrest. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful and went out of their way to cater to our every need. Top Tip: Get the tram from right outside the hotel to the Buenos Aires/Margaretta area - only a few stops - and explore lots of lovely cafes and shops in a classy neighbourhood that is not overrun by tourists and tourist traps!

Excellent hotel in a beautiful neighborhood

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Constantin, the concierge, was extremely helpful with giving advice about things to do, he even ordered us pizza when we were too tired to go out.
Location: Right next to the zoo, the Modern Art Museum and the Borghese Villa and Museum. An easy walk to restaurants and shopping, in a quiet neighborhood.
We were very happy with everything about this hotel. The room was large to say the least, the staff helpful, there is a great free breakfast in the mornings and the pool is wonderful after a hot day of sightseeing. They really go the extra mile to be sure you are happy. The location is a few minutes walk through the Borghese to all the sites, and if you don't want to walk the tram stops right outside.
