A wonderful hotel, nestled into the Borghese ParkPosted Nov 13, 2013
Pros: Everything.....the staff, professionalism, the quality of care that goes into all the little details and the brunch of course, and the shuttle service
Cons: Listing the prices of the items on the menu at the famed Oliver Glowig restaurant so that there are no surprises when the bill arrives!
Location: Loved the location literally in the Borghese Gallery/Park area, slightly removed from the center of Rome. This makes it a nice way to retreat!

great stayPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: amazing breakfast. probably one of the most elegant hotel breakfast; very friendly staff; the shuttle was also useful.
Cons: the air-condition was not working/ we were told that in November it is turned to heating.
Location: it is 5 min ride from the center and the shuttle runs every 30min until 10:45. so the location is really not a problem.
we were happy with the hotel, the location and the service. the decor of the room is more European than american, but the bathroom is supper modern and the room is very clean. the breakfast room is simply beautiful.

Amazing Hotel with over the top servicePosted Sep 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Probably the most welcoming arrival I have enjoyed at any hotel- the front door staff and the front desk, all was over-the-top! We were even escorted to our room by the front desk agent to ensure our easy arrival. Fresh fruit, wine and hazelnuts awaited us in our room. If you order a drink by the pool they bring it with three silver bowls, one with pistachios, one with chips, and one with olives, as well as two small bowls for pits and shells. Wine prices and drink prices at the pool were fair. My only complaint was the pricing in the hotel was for dining. We truly could not justify spending 28 euros on a hamburger, and that was one of the better values on the menu. Breakfast prices were beyond what I was willing to pay, which prompted us to get our day started and head out into Rome. The concierge was helpful with all reservations and recommendations, and we were sent by a front desk clerk to one of his favorite local restaurants when we asked about where he liked to eat- I think we were the only Americans eating there, and it was amazing! The hotel was a great place to center our stay, and the shuttle to the Trevi steps made it easy to get our day started. Of course, returning home to relax at their gorgeous pool after 10 hours of walking Rome was perfect!

Perfect stayPosted Aug 31, 2013
We stayed three nights in late August and couldn't ask for more. The location is great, especially the shuttle service. Rooms are big and comfortable, and the hotel facilities are amazing. We would defiantly come back.

Perfect for a longer than usual city break.Posted Aug 16, 2013
Pros: Quiet location, close to Borghese Gardens
Location: Northern part of Rome, residential & diplomatic area - v quiet. Close to Borghese Gardens, zoo, Museum of Modern Art, on tram route direct to Vatican.
Wonderful hotel in a quiet part of Rome. The pool garden makes the extra expense well worth it - no need to be out and about all day. the pool staff are attentive and friendly, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast buffet excellent, food from garden bar plain but perfectly acceptable. Service excellent and unobtrusive - I grumbled about badly behaved children at the pool and received an instant apology, a bottle of sparkling wine, and the problem resolved overnight. Free shuttle service from hotel to Spanish Steps frequent and reliable, taxi from SS to hotel about 8 euro. Very little traffic, and very quiet evenings and overnight. A little piece of heaven in the Eternal City

Great hotel for a romantic break.Posted Aug 7, 2013
Pros: Staff very welcoming
Cons: Other guests who dress down and not just the Americans. It is not acceptable to wear swim shorts to breakfast or jeans into the restaurant.
Location: Quiet away from the bustle of Rome.15 minute walk across the lovely Borghese Gardens or a short shuttle ride to the Spanish Steps.
Wonderful hotel. Excellent staff; helpful and friendly. Lovely pool on a hot afternoon in Rome.

Luxury at a reasonable pricePosted Jul 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Beautifully maintained. Great and courteous staff. The pool was a sanity saver - especially when travelling with children. Could see the sights in the morning - relax and cool off when things got hot - and back out in the evening.

Oasis in Rome summerPosted Jul 18, 2013
Fantastic location; borghese park and gallery 2 min walk; trams; courtesy car to spanish steps, best pool. Great with kids. Needed bit more extensive informal dining menu but hard nitpicking. Amazing hotel.
