“A good 4 star hotel”

This is a great hotel, the location was perfect. A well earned drink was in order after walking our socks off around Rome, only find our mini bar was "Free" would fully recommend this hotel. Even the trip back to the airport was a nice touch by the hotel who organised a luxury limo at a cheaper rate than arriving by taxi from the airport to the hotel.

Well located, a huge room with a separate foyer and bathroom, the best quality buffet breakfast, great staff, free room internet, free in-room tea,coffee and biscuits and a free minibar. Great value for money!

“great location for mini break in Rome”

Stayed at this hotel with young family in August 2011 for three nights. Great location on Via Nazionale. Easy walking distance of major sights such as Trevi fountian , Spanish steps and Colosseum amongst others. Very handily placed for undeground and main railway station. Very friendly and helpful staff always wiling to assist whenever they could. Room easily accomodated double bed, bed settee and baby cot . Good sound proofing means that street noise was no issue. Free mini bar stocked every day of stay and godsend of air conditioning helped us cool down after the heat of the city . Breakfast was self service buffet and a mixutre of continental and cooked food.There was plenty to eat with a good slection for kids . Very nice roof top terrace bar with distant view of St Peter's Basicilica gave great photo opportunity at sunset. We would certainly stay here if returning to Rome .

“Wonderful Honeymoon Hotel”

We(my new husband and I)stayed at Hotel Artemide from 8/17/09 - 8/23/09 and LOVED it! The staff is so friendly and never too busy to help. The hotel is well maintained and nicely decorated. We were upgraded to a superior room free of charge. The room was on the small side... but it is a hotel in an ancient city, so a small-ish room is normal. The room was very clean however, and did include FREE still and sparkling water, juice, beer, and soda in the mini fridge. Be sure not to miss out on the complimentary breakfast! It includes fruits, yogurt, meats and cheeses, pastries, and even eggs and bacon along with 7 types of juices and coffee, latte, or cappuccino. The location is really great too! Two blocks away from a Metro stop for quick travel or close enough to some major sties for walking.

A great and warm hotel with great location to all of Central Rome. All staff were very engaging and informative soon as you ask a question or request. Breakfast and mini bar was a plus. Truly a great experience and my son actually have plans to return to Rome and stay in the same hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend to all of my friends and family. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE

“Great location.”

This hotel has a great central location on Via Nazionale - 20 mins walk to the Spanish Steps and the same to the Colloseum in the opposite direction. Close to plenty of restaurants and a 10 min walk to the Termini. Hotel was very clean and the superior room we had worth paying the extra for. Some other reviews suggested the main road side was noisy but we didn't find it a problem and I'm an extremely light sleeper. Would recommend this hotel but there are probably ones just as good that are a little cheaper.

“Have already recommended to family!!”

The hotel room was of average size, some interior slightly dated but fitting for Rome. The bathroom was recently refitted and was superb- very spacious. The room was very clean (cleaned twice in one day!) The real highlight was a free minibar- this came in use due to the poor exchange rate- making basic items such as bottles of water and beer very expensive. Breakfast was of a good quality- a large selection of drinks and food (everything from cheese, bread to cakes and pastries- as well as basic items such as english breakfast, toast and cereal).

“Great hotel, staff very friendly”

We had a fabulous trip for my mums 60th birthday. We booked transfers through expedia from the airport to the hotel. Although the drivers and their driving were both a tad shady, they got us to our hotel within an hour and a half which left elleviated my parents stress ( having not travelled much). Artemide Hotel is very central, 5-8 minutes walk to the Trevi Fountain and 15 minute to the Colesseum. The hotel is lovely, the bar staff are very friendly and provide snacks with any drinks ordered. Hotel staff were very helpful, booked our bus tours, rebooked our transfers to the airport, breakfast was very good. My parents loved it. They told us within 2 hours of being at the hotel that they would be returning. Overall, I cannot give any negative comments as there werent any, superb.
