Fantastic hotel, great staff and tactilitiesPosted Mar 3, 2014
Location: Perfect location for getting around town and all the major sites
The Artemide was so easy to get to - a short walk from the train station. On arrival we were greeted by the excellent hotel staff who made us feel extremely welcome. The room was fantastic; spacious, clean and quiet. The hotel itself is a perfect location for getting around town and all the major sites. Everything was first class from start to finish and we'll definitely be staying at the Artemede next time we are in Rome.

Excellent Hotel & location.Posted Feb 27, 2014
Location: The hotel is within walking distance of all the top sites.
Fantastic, this is the 3rd time my wife & I have stayed at The Artemide Hotel in the past 4 years, this time my mother & daughter came with us. I booked two superior double rooms & upon arrival we were greeted by a familiar face Mario & was told that we had been upgraded to two junior suites, both rooms overlooked the front of the hotel, one of which had a balcony which pleased my mother & daughter. All the staff are very friendly & extremely helpful & several staff members have been there since our first visit in 2011 which is very comforting, the food is excellent & the selection of breakfast is outstanding. My mother & daughter were very impressed about the whole experience of visiting Roma for the 1st time & they thoroughly enjoyed their stay at The Artemide., as we did. Whilst staying at this hotel there was renovation works being carried out, at NO stage did this effect our stay, on the contrary were are already looking forward to return just to see what improvements have been carried out. First class well worth staying at.

Great location and value for moneyPosted Feb 20, 2014
The rooms we had were on the front and as it was beautiful weather, we had very warm rooms and could be noisy with the windows open. The staff could not do enough for you and were very polite. We had a fantastic time in Rome and the hotel was perfectly situated to see the classic part of the city on foot.

Everything was great!Posted Jan 18, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness was outstanding, staff friendly and happy to help, breakfast was very good
Cons: Beds are slightly hard, but not unbearable.
Location: There were few restaurants near the hotel and these were a tad pricey and without atmosphere. Best to walk 20 mins to the Trevi area. Shopping good.
This was the hotel that I had set my heart on and I went to great lengths to stay there (including catching indirect flights so that I could get this hotel as part of a package deal). We were presented with complimentary welcome drink vouchers for their top floor bar. This was lovely at sunset. The hotel is in fabulous order, very clean and even smells fresh in the hallways. Being winter, the lovely heated rooms were welcome. The breakfast has everything that you could ever imagine and the breakfast room is decorated lovely. I could go on to say that many things were great, but I'll just summarise with I was happy with everything about my stay.

Our Mini Moon to RomePosted Jan 17, 2014
Pros: FOOD!!! and the staff where lovely.
Hotel We got married and flew out to Rome the very next day, on arrival at the Hotel Artemide we were met with a beautiful reception from staff and kindly upgraded to their best room in the hotel as a wedding present! All staff spoke English which made things extremely easy with our broken Italian and all rooms are accessible by lift. We were fortunate to have an amazing room top terrace to ourselves, but the room was extremely comfortable and very clean and turned down everyday. We left our pyjamas under the pillow and these were even folded when making the bed! Food- the hidden Gem The real treat at this hotel though is the food! the food is to die for! Breakfast is well worth the extra money where you are treated to a buffet with an array of different breakfasts from, cereals, cooked breakfasts, fruit, salads, cakes, doughnuts, pancakes, croissants! you name it they had it! All cakes are homemade and baked onsite and you must try!!! :) On our last night as we had an early flight we decided to dine at the roof top restaurant. Although slightly expensive like most things in Italy! The food was some of the best we have tasted and the views are lovely, again staff where fantastic and really made our stay a pleasure. Location The hotel is located on a shopping street in Rome and is really good distance from the Collusseum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Vatican City is a long walk, but taxi is about 15 euros (one way)

Fantastic Hotel, great location.Posted Jan 13, 2014
Pros: Everything, especially Pasquale and the wonderful staff.
Cons: Nothing.......keep doing the same.
Location: Via Nazionale is one of the main streets and is in walking distance for all the tourist spots. Lots of trattorias around if you want to eat out.
The staff were very welcoming when we arrived and the service remained the same during our whole stay of seven days. We enjoyed a welcome glass of bubbly on the hotel roof top restaurant and decided to have dinner also. The menu was varied and the food delicious, all in all a very pleasant experience. The next morning we went down to breakfast and were greeted by the wonderful Pasquale, a big smile and very welcoming. We were served hot coffee and invited to help ourselves to the buffet. We asked for fried eggs.....and they arrived promptly and cooked perfectly. We still can taste the fresh ricotta and the delicious cakes baked by Pasquale......we would have liked to take him home with us to Australia.
