“Richly Deserves Every Accolade They've Received!”

The Hotel Artemide was an absolutely fantastic place to stay, and richly deserves the awards and accolades it has received. I don't speak a word of Italian, but the staff goes above and beyond the services standards you would expect to make you feel welcome. The room was exceptionally clean with modern furnishings. WiFi was both free and reliable, which I found very useful for researching additional information about the city. The restaurant was excellent, and also reasonably priced in comparison to equivalent non-hotel affiliated places. I highly recommend the room rate with included breakfast-- the Artemide's breakfast buffet was a spectacular way to start the day. The free minibar was also a wonderful luxury, especially since it saved a good amount of change in comparison to purchasing similar refreshments in the city. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough.

“Sweet Roman Hospitality.”

My 13 year old son put it best: These guys are being so nice and helpful they are embarrassing us (as Americans). It was thue. The service was consistently awesome and done with authentic helpfulness. Professional with personality and care. Rooms were super comfy. Location perfect. Quiet inside. Great clean gym facilities. Better care then money can buy.

“Wonderful Honeymoon Hotel”

We(my new husband and I)stayed at Hotel Artemide from 8/17/09 - 8/23/09 and LOVED it! The staff is so friendly and never too busy to help. The hotel is well maintained and nicely decorated. We were upgraded to a superior room free of charge. The room was on the small side... but it is a hotel in an ancient city, so a small-ish room is normal. The room was very clean however, and did include FREE still and sparkling water, juice, beer, and soda in the mini fridge. Be sure not to miss out on the complimentary breakfast! It includes fruits, yogurt, meats and cheeses, pastries, and even eggs and bacon along with 7 types of juices and coffee, latte, or cappuccino. The location is really great too! Two blocks away from a Metro stop for quick travel or close enough to some major sties for walking.

“Friendly service, clean rooms”

We booked two rooms at this hotel as we were traveling with our older teen daughters. The hotel respected our request to locate the rooms near each other. Everyone we encountered was friendly and delightful. The breakfast offered bountiful options and was delicious. By our third morning, the attentive server knew which beverages to bring to our family members. This was impressive because the breakfast service was always bustling. The hotel's location is excellent. We were able to walk to the train station with our luggage for the next leg of the trip. I'm pretty picky but I would stay there again.

“Artemide was wonderful!”

This was a great hotel. From here it's only a short walk to Termini Station or Trevi Fountain, and the street Via Nazionale had plenty of shopping and eating choices. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help direct us to the best way to tourist destinations, or exchange dollars into Euros. The breakfast was fabulous and fit for a king or queen. Our room was spacious which was a shock to us because we thought of Europe as having small guest rooms and not American sized rooms. The bathroom was also spacious and decorated with travertine tile. If you are unsure of where to stay I would recommend staying here for the friendly service, good breakfast, and spacious accomodations.

“Couldn't have asked for more”

We were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Rooms are definitely smaller than American counterparts would be but we didn't go to Rome to roam around the hotel room. Very clean, friendly, helpful, knowledgable staff speaks English, close to everything except the Vatican (1/2 hour walk), excellent breakfast to get your day started. A great choice for us!

“highly recommended”

Very good hotel in very central location. Went during high season and though the hotel seemed close to if not full, the staff handled things very well. Good morning buffet, complimentary mini-bar with a small selection of water, soda, and beer. Complimentary newspapers (most Italian; a lot of Italians stay there). Room wasn't fancy or overly large, but on par for price & Rome; good maid service. Helpful front desk; very good language skills. Roof-top bar/restaurant expensive given exchange rates, but prices on par with similar places in city. Internet in business center was per stay and a good deal if you're there more than a few days. (Free internet is in what looks like an old phone booth and limited in time. Room internet is through TV and adds up fast.) On a busy street near metro and bus.

“Great location, great hotel!”

Fantastic location, clean and spacious rooms, hearty breakfast, rooftop bar for late night drinks al fresco and friendly staff. This is my new home right off the Piazza Della Republica whenever I stay in Rome.

“Great Location, Good Service”

We stayed at the Artemide from March 13-17, 2009. I found the staff to be very knowledgeable and accommodating. They were able to change our room reservation and didn't overcharge for the upgrade. The breakfast was outstanding and more than ample for any appetite. I would recommend this hotel.
