Bizarre, dirty, but good location
Posted Jan 19, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: Everything else
When I checked in I was sent to another building around 100 meters away, to find that my room was actually a room in an ordinary apartment that had been converted to a hotel room. Not the best situation to find when you are tired and just want to relax. The room and the bathroom were fairly dirty, the converted apartment was noisy and the level of privacy was fairly substandard -- the owner/caretaker spent most of his time strutting around the corridor in his pyjamas. The shower trickled some warm water but without any pressure. Still the location is good, so if all you want to do is sleep (and you are a heavy sleeper.)

Good value close to centre of Rome.

This is good value and a good standard for a budget hotel.. Entry is down a side street and you have to press a button to gain entry. Then up a small lift to reception on the first floor. Breakfast is fine and I will stay here next time unless I am richer.

Good place to stay

This hotel is an ideal base for visiting the sites of Rome. The staff were very friendly and helpful even helped us book tickets on the internet for the Vatican. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Great Value for the Money

Overall for the price, this hotel was good. Close to a train station that is two stops from the central station. The internet worked from my room (though I might've been tapped in to another wifi network). Breakfast was better than any other I've seen in Italy. And although the staff barely speaks English, they are very warm and friendly. I liked this hotel the most and would definitely stay there again.

dissapointing

Location: about 10 minute walk from central station which wasnt to bad, but in a very run down area.
when i arrived in my room the floor was still dirty from the previous occupants and it looked like mouse droppings and they werent cleaned up the entire time i was there. The top sheet on the bed was covered in cigarette burns and it smelt like someone had been smoking in there everytime i went in. The shower wouldnt drain away properly so after a little bit you were standing in a big puddle and had to wait for the water to drain away which took an age.

great location and service but horrible room
Posted Jan 8, 2011 on Hotels.com
There's diffinitely ups and downs in this hotel. The location is great. It's very close to metro station, the policlinico metro and bologna station. The bus 310 also stop at this hotel that will take you to Termini station. Termini is the main station of Rome. There's a lot of stores and restaurants around the hotels. There's lots of pizzeria, gelati, and wine stores around this hotel. This stores are a minute walk to this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a family own hotel, and provide breakfast everyday from 7-10AM. The bad part of the hotel is the room is very small. The bathroom is very small and hard to move. The air condition does not work. The TV does not work. The room's temperature is very dry. The room has a weird smell and the sheets are dirty. They clean the room everyday, they just don't change the sheets. The hot water always run out. The wall is very thin, you can hear everyone in the other room. You can hear them taking a shower or just using the toilet. In the morning when the guest wake up it gets so loud. The neighborhood is very loud too.. Their no noise insulation in this hotel.

Good Hotel for the money

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We were given a triple instead of a double, but the rooms were clean and of decent size. AC was cold, breakfast was great, and the bathroom was tiny, but functional. I had been staying in hostels and very cheap hotels on this trip, so I had a low bar of expectations, but compared to similar priced hotels, this was a great choice and the neighborhood was good, with plenty of stores, restaurants and a nearby metro stop.
