Feel like homePosted Sep 14, 2012 on Hotels.com
Leaving from home for already two weeks and B&B Marlu had given the feeling of home and it solved a little bit of home sick. Marlene, the owner, was a great, nice and helpful person. Location is good and everything is fine.

Excellent Stay.Posted Apr 25, 2012
Pros: The owner. she was very friendly and helpful.
Location: Slightly further away from the main sights. 10 mins walk to Colosseum and Termini train station, 3 blocks to a metro stop.
We stayed in April 2012. The person who ran the B&B was absolutely wonderful. She answered any questions we had about Rome and helped us plan our days to see the sights of Rome. She gave us a map and gave us recommendations on restaurants and a delicious gelato shop nearby. She was very friendly and helpful. She was more than we could have hoped for in a hostess. The room itself was large and comfortable. The bed was two twins put together, as is common in Italy. It was comfortable. We slept fine at night, there was not too much noise. The hostess prepared breakfast each morning, which consisted of croissants and bread rolls that she got from a nearby bakery, with jams, yogurt, juice and tea or coffee. It was tasty and satisfying. We ate with the other guests at the breakfast table in the mornings, which added to the friendly feel of the place. It felt like we were visiting friends. The B&B was in a convenient area too. We walked to all the main sights of Rome, and there is a metro stop about 3 blocks from the hotel that we used to go to Vatican City. It took us about 10 mins to walk to Termini station, the main train station, from the B&B. It was good value for money. We had a shared bathroom. It was always clean, it is a decent size, and we never had to wait long to use it as there is only 3 rooms in the B&B. We got our own set of keys to the building and our room so we were able to come and go as we pleased.
